Ross was like crazy looking for a window among all the pile of dirty clothes and when he found it, he tried to open it with force until he finally succeeded. The window opened onto the balcony, one that Eda had perhaps forgotten existed due to its lack of cleanliness. Despite being dirty he was not compared to the inside of the nauseating hell of an instant ago. He took a deep breath when a voice echoed from behind.
-And you how ... There was a balcony ?! Wow- the ape man exclaimed in amazement at the discovery
Ross refuses to go in and decides to start the conversation from outside.
-I'm Russel Fox, Edaleen's new wand, nice to meet you. You must be Morty, Eda and Sylph told me about you. You've already come back from walking around apparently. Excuse my rudeness but I'm not going to go back there-
-So you're the famous wand, but I don't want to be here either, it's very repulsive in the afternoons. So we'll chat outside so you can explain to me how you ended up here-
Morty paled when he learned the details of the mess Eda had gotten into. She had practically made an abysmal mistake, damaged the happy ending of her goddaughter, Rocket caught her red-handed and dragged an outsider with her, who seized the fragment and did not even have the good will to teach the young man how to function in it world, she just locked herself in her room like she always did when she did something stupid. Morty found himself responsible for Ross's situation as his sister-in-law disappeared not to help.
Trying to bring Ross up to date with everything, Morty taught him how to handle appliances and other appliances to clean the pigsty that represented the apartment. If he was going to stay and live with Eda's grotesque, what better way than to refurbish the place since she destroyed the hut.
A week went by and Morty taught Ross how to start living in this new world. He had cleaned the entire apartment. Windows, furniture and books that didn't seem to exist suddenly appeared, the dining room and kitchen appeared to be more spacious without the cluttered garbage bags, clothes and boxes. When it was their turn to clean Eda's room, they opened the door with the spare key but Eda did not wake up under any circumstances. Morty assumed her fainting was due to the excessive use of the wand that was taking its toll on her physical condition. For Ross it was the same whether Eda was awake or not, the room would be disinfected at all costs.
Eda woke up and half sleepy went straight to the bathroom. She there she notices that she is wearing a nightgown and the bathroom did not resemble hers, as if it were another, one too clean and smelling of fruit. Giving it a hallucination, she leaves, she looks at the clean and tidy bedroom, then she screams, that alerted Morty and Ross who came running scared by the loud scream.
-What happened? Why did you scream? -
-Morty !!!! The room is clean !!! - Eda is excited
-You really are stupid. Your things are in their place, where they belong. Be thankful that we cleaned this hovel-
-EHHH !!! -
Eda was made aware of all the changes in her absence. She couldn't believe that this place was her apartment, the place was so clean and smelled of fruit and her things were put in the drawers and cabinets. But what confused her the most was that Ross has adapted so quickly to this new life. He had even cooked since Eda was spending her money on cooked food and she had never set foot in the kitchen.
-Delicious! I want more! -
-Hey! Dinner should reach us all, it's not just for you- Ross was in a very bad mood since Eda kept repeating the dish
-Leen, enough. Ross is right, I have barely tasted the cannelloni on my plate and you go for the third one- Morty reprimands her to stop her ravenous hunger
-It's his fault for cooking so delicious. If he worked in a restaurant, we would surely earn a lot of money-
-Too bad since I have a job as your wand- he answers, trying to forget Eda's shrill voice that put him in a bad mood.
Ross frowns. He began to seriously believe that the woman in front of him was hopeless and better to avoid creating more problems around him. He went from being a wand to a guest and from there he ended up as a babysitter and employee of someone who cared little and nothing about life. He cleaned, cooked and studied everything he could to overlap and compensate for the ineptitude of his master. Morty returned to his apartment to take care of his family since Ross freed him from monitoring Eda.
That same Friday very late at night. Ross got up from the couch after hearing a knock and went to Eda's room. He stood by the door and heard a different voice than Eda's already annoying and familiar one, cursing and threatening to kill someone on the other side. He opened the door and what he found was a white haired woman, made up and well dressed trying to split her heels in the middle of her. The woman hadn't noticed Ross's presence and she continued her tantrum. Clearly the woman was Eda but she acted differently from her usual self.
-Shit heel, you came to break today ... die, die. I'm going to have to wear her dress and black heels. If they kick me out of the Club, I'm going to curse you and assume that tomorrow I'll take you to the shoe store and from there I'll go to the damn dry cleaner-
Eda tries to keep her composure and calm down. She tosses her shoes into a corner and finishes getting ready in front of the mirror when she hears someone behind her.
-Ehem ... Eda, what are you doing? -
Eda turns around and her lipstick falls to the floor. Seeing Ross paralyzed her. Her routine was discovered and now she had to explain.
-Shit- Eda starts to grind her teeth
-What a beautiful voice you have, you are no longer with the squeaky tune of always. So ... could you tell me who of the two characters you really are- Ross narrows his eyes and crosses his arms as he leans against the door
-You discovered me well and now what will you do-
-Maybe I should call your sister and your brother-in-law-
-NOO! ... don't even think of you fucking idiot! - Eda takes Ross by the arm
-Shh, lower your voice because you'll end up calling them- Ross laughs maliciously
-Well, I'll tell you but you should swear to shut your mouth, for nothing in the world no one should know in return I'll give you whatever you want-
-This must be deja vu because it is the same thing you offered me when I met you. You will see, I am not going to fall twice, then what I want is for you to help me with the chores and the kitchen I do not intend to continue being your slave. Also with the subject of studying the manuals, if you refuse, I will speak-
