The man didn't move from his position and only watched the glass statue lighting up without the slightest wisp of a glare. Despite the bright light, it remained easy on the eyes. The magic contained in it was so strong that it could bring vision to most humans. Larkin only watched it before directing his vision at the battlefield.
Artie didn't get to see Larkin's face from the distance, but she could freely fight without thinking of the humans succumbing to the blindness of the dark. With the light revealing where their enemies and allies were, she decided to get into a stance. She then swung Certainty in a vertical slash with full force.
The subsequent force of the slash raged into a flood forward. Soon, these three lines actually brought sand with them as they went to form a circle. Three wheels drove across the battlefield and sliced through the beast in front of her. Bang! One death was counted for the enemy.
