Artie was about to react to his words, but he leaned down for his wedding kiss. For some reason, it felt different from the rest of his passion-filled or dismissive ones. Though he was trying to dismiss Artie's concern for it, it also came with a hint of comfort. 'Just let it go…' Those words seemed to come from the feeling.
In the end, the ceremony went smoothly as everyone hoped for. Of course, the nobles would customary clap to end the ceremony while the common folk still cheered and whistled. The newlyweds rose from the altar, and the chosen children from the followed them out of the church, releasing a pair of doves and a whole crate of rabbits as they first stepped out. Outside, more common people cheered at the newlyweds.
