Artie felt chills ran up and down her spine as she stared into the eyes of the woman. She grabbed the woman's wrist and tried to pull away from the woman's hold, but a gray lizard tail rushed from inside the woman's rustic beige dress and wrapped around Artie's waist. She then gasped out loud in panic.
However, Artie had some kind of assurance. The System wasn't prompting her with anything. Back when she was in trouble, Heaven's Creation would blast her with notifications to help her survive the encounter. Be it her getting assassinated all of a sudden or when she was hurt during the Authority Conquest tutorial.
Right now though, there was nothing. The System was silent, and so she should be safe, right?
