As Herriot left, Clarissa saw how every knight glared at the direction of the prince. She then huffed and left as well, showing her agreement with the prince. Marissa also moved as soon as her sister did. She actually wanted to wait for Callum, but the knight was the first one to lift his glare and delicately held on their archduchess and picked her up from the sand.

"Lady Ellis, you did your best. Do not be discouraged by them." Callum wanted to carry her, but Artie started moving on her own. He still helped her get to her feet. "Not everyone is born wise. Some people like us do need to learn after making a mistake."

"Thanks, Callum," Artie murmured before picking up the sword, "but he's right. I should use my brain a lot more. Not all enemies are simple; neither are all fights dependent on the intellect of the enemy. My choice of weapon is awful. Maybe because I only have a few…"
