Over the next couple days Kila created medicine to restore her father's meridians. With the trial for Fan'er coming up she had no time to waste before word got out and some kind of weird effect took place that would save her life. The faster the process the quicker the trial will come, if she waste time then nothing will go right. The last thing she needed was that girl's mother to get word about her daughter, which is why Ara had been getting rid of the maids that followed Fan'er willingly. Ara came in, she looked completely worn out, "that's the last of them, I made sure they were taken to a place no one could find them." Ara says.
Kila pulls out the medicine she recently concocted for her father, "good, let's go check in on the prisoner." She says as they leave the courtyard to where they kept Fan'er prisoner. Two guards stood blocking the doors, they seemed to be having a dispute with a woman Kila recognized instantly. Mother Yang, she was the head concubine and an enemy that worked under Fan'er's mother. Seems they got word pretty quickly, but it will be too late for them now. "What is the meaning of this?" Mother Yang asked spewing with anger. The commoton caused others to see what was happening, "seems someone is disturbing others." Someone whispered. Mother Yang could feel her anger about to burst. How the hell will she get Fan'er out of this mess? "Mistress Yang, perhaps you should settle down. Father will be here any moment." Kila says as she walks over. Mother Yang turns her bloodshot colored eyes to her and began waving her finger at her fratically, "you! This must be your fault!" She screams after the shocked expression on her face disappeared. It was obvious seeing her alive stumped her a bit but she handled the shock well. "No, this is Fan'er's fault. Because she have been poisoning father." Kila points out. At that moment her father was walking up, "it's the general." The whispers were saying. He looked a lot better since the last time she told him to stop drinking things Fan'er gave him."what is going on here?" He asked angrily. Mother Yang bows her head, "husband, I came about Fan'er's case. She is young and stupid, and if husband allows it I will pusnish her myself." She says.
"Denied. Fan'er is fourteen, she is no longer a child and will be tried and killed for her crimes against me, the Great General." He says. Mother Yang flinches, "yes husband." She says before sauntering off. I will not give up! She thought. Kila turns to her father, "she won't give up easily." She tells him. He sighs. "indeed, come child, take me back to my courtyard." He says beckoning her towards him. Kila happily obliges, she nods over at Ara, there are measres they will have to take in order to make sure no one tries anything tonight. Good thing Ara will be gaurding along side the others, this way no one could get through to the prisioner. "By the way father, I have something for you."
The Next Day
The day of the trial at the palace has arrived and Kila's father's treatment has began. He should be able to breakthrough by the end of he trial, meanwhile they had last minute preperations for the trial. Ping came up to her then as she was coming into the palace, "First Sister Kilang." He says with a slight bow. "Third brother Ping, what brings you to see me?" Kila asked. Ping, this guy had the face of an angel but was stupud beyond compare. Because of him Fan'er killed Kilang out of pure hatred and jealousy, of course this guy was clueless about either of the girls' feelings for him. Sure he wasn't exactly at fault here, there was no wrong in being a bit clueless, except for the fact that Kilang gave him many signals that he did not understand, it resulted in her death.
"All rise for the Emperor!" One of the guards shouts as everyone stood and once the Emperor was seated so were they. Kilang was ushered forward she then bows respectfully to the Emperor. Fn'er was then dragged into the room and shoved to her knees, "we begin the trial for Fan'er Ruong for attempted treason on General Ruong. It is also stated that she attempted murder on his daughter Kilang Ruong, do you have anything to say for yourself?" The emperor asked Fan'er. She says nothing, Kila glances back at Ara who wiggles a small jar in her hand before tucking it into her sleeve. The plan to make sure Fan'er is punished has already started, there is no mercy for a grl like her.
