Ruong Family Household
"Brother Ping, can't we go to Moon Lamp Festival?" Fan'er Ruong and Ping Li both sat out in the pavilion in the backyard. She did all she could to get him to come visit her, finally after so many times asking he agreed to have tea with her. These days she felt peace without that retched cousin of hers becoming a nuisance. Fan'er has to do her best in winning favor not only with the Li Family but with Ruong Family as well. It's been a few years since she got rid of the First Daughter of the Ruong Family, nothing will ever get in her way again. "Did you hear me Fani?" He ask. She perks, he's never called her that before, "I'm sorry, I didn't hear you." She admits.
Let's not think of annoying things anymore, "I was just saying how General Ruong agreed that we should go to the festival together." He says sitting down his cup of tea. Of course he agreed, it's best that things escalate between her and Brother Ping, if she could marry him she would be one step closer to getting rich. She smiles brightly, "we'll have so much fun." She says. The rest of the day went great, once he left Fan'er made her way to the west courtyard, her house, "Miss Fan'er, you have a visitor." One of her servant girls came up to her looking really nervous. Fan'er enters her house, "what is the meaning of this visit?" She ask once she realizes it was one of the assassins she hired to kill her cousin.
"I'm sorry it's about your cousin." he says. The maid bows and quickly leaves after Fan'er glares at her, she sits in front of her mirror, "she still lives." He says. Fan'er flinches at the news, how is that possible? "Didn't you confirm her death yourself?" She asked. "I apologise miss, I was paid to not say a thing, just recently I received news from the other assassin of her whereabouts." He trembles with fear. Fan'er clenches her fist, "Go find and kill her, afterwards I want news on her death, if you fail this time I'll kill you myself!" She says angrily. He quickly bows, "yes Miss." He vanishes.
Shit! Fan'er throws a brush at her mirror causing it to crack, "Kilang Ruong, even though your body was ruined by me you dare to still be alive? I will not have you ruin my plans." She stands and leaves the house.
Back to Kilang's group
"AAchooo!!" Kila sneezes and rubs her nose, a cold maybe? "Where are we going now?" Princess Ara asks, they had been walking and resting for two days now and still haven't reached their next destination. She pulls the map out, looks like another day to get to Fiery Desert." She says rerolling the map and tucking it back into the spacial bag. "Wait, that's a place full of desert monsters, not only that it's so hot that getting through one day without water would kill you." Princess Ara says looking worried. "We made sure to have plenty of water, and we can easily take down those monsters with the three of us." Kila says.
"We can also use Doctor An as bait again." King Jero says with a smirk. Doctor An was already wheezing from the walk to the desert, "he might not make it, his indurance is so weak. We haven;t even made it to the destination yet and he's already like that." Princess Ara says with a shake of her head. "Doesn't he remind you of an old man?" King Jero ask. Doctor An glares at them, "I can hear you." He says. King Jero nods, "that's the point." He says. Kila turn toward him, "I wanted to ask more about where you two come from." She points out. "We are Earth Fairies, I'm the King there but because of some issues I got kicked down to Earth." He says.
"Like I mentioned before, it's really a long story." Princess Ara says. "Hey we have company." King Jero says glancing back without really letting it known that he noticed. "How many?" Kila asks. "About twenty, my guess are assassins." Princess Ara answers. "Shit they must be after me." King Jero says as they quicken their steps. "No way, after all this time why would the fairy higher ups suddenly send assassins after you. And they smell like humans." Princess Ara points out. They stop and turn around as the assassins surround them on every side, "where is Kilang Ruong?" One of the assassins asks. Kila frowns, "we don't know anyone by that name." Doctor An answers.
"Boss isn't that her?" One of the assassins point at her, "you're wrong that's Kila Ba''er." Doctor An declares. Kila unsheaths her sword, "sorry guys, it looks like I won't be able to hide it any longer." She says. "Hold on, are you saying you're family name is Ruong? As in the famous Ruong family with the huge secret army, that Ruong?" He asks. "Yeah, that's right, and it seems that I might have to hurry this mission to retrieve the items I need for this cure. My cousin must have just heard of my survival." She answers, looks like her family was well known. "Oh great, no wonder you didn't want to tell me anything."
King Jero grins, "this has become more interesting than I planned." He says his mana pouring out.
