The secret passage, perfectly well hidden in the castle's foundations, found its end in the orangery. The sun was high in the sky devoid of any cloud, much to the misfortune of Nyx's uncles. They no longer had their protection and, therefore, their extremely sensitive vampire skin should not be in direct contact with the suns' rays.
"We are in the orangery, great! At least we're not in the castle anymore. That's already it, I guess," Foud complained as he approached the large patio doors.
"Do you see someone?"
"Nobody, the way seems clear."
"Sure, is there no one there?"
"Not a living soul. We should hurry to get them out before he starts having people, which should be for soon I think."
"They can't go out like that, see!" Orthon's twin immediately objected."They don't have their medallion so they can't expose themselves to the sun!"
"Is that what these medallions are for?"
