Day felt like he was in a dream. After the horrible storm, everything was now calm. Sitting on the ground strewn with stones polished by the water of the lake, the blond took advantage of the lack of voice to listen to nature around him. The hoots of the owls, the wind, seeping through the treetops of the forest from where he was. At some moment, he could hear wild animals. His senses were on full alert, and with minimal effort, he could guess the sound of deer footsteps. Sometimes he even heard people coming to drink the water from the lake. Everything was so calm, and the coolness of the night gave him the desire to stay. Then, as he was focused on listening to the sound of the water and the jumping fish, different footsteps were heard behind him.
"Father," he said after taking a seat next to him.
"I bring you some tea. Nyx says you like mint tea a lot, especially when it's strong."
