Heart still pounding in fear, Day tried to calm down. He hadn't realized he had fallen asleep on the sofa while his friends were finishing their bags. Because of this, he was seized with a fit of panic when he didn't hear the slightest noise around him. He was alone in his house, quiet. Until he heard several doors close.
"Oh, you're finally awake, my beautiful little mate!" Nyx said as he made his way to the kitchen.
"Where were you, Nyx?"
"I mopped the rooms. All the rooms, by the way. There was a lot of need!"
"Did you clean the house while I was sleeping?"
"Yes. Why do you seem so surprised at this? It is not the first I do that."
"I thought you would sleep too."
"I wanted to do this in the beginning after taking out the trash. But when I saw the state of the windows in the rooms, I couldn't resist. And one thing leading to another, I cleaned everything up."
