Its the middle of the night and then I hear howling and barking not too far behind and I grab all of my things and stuffed them into my bag before continuing to run back to the cabin and lock the door and wait for the storm to pass hopefully without being, chased and attacked by wolves that somehow noticed me watching them from afar, for my research, that my boss wanted me to get a good report on the wolves from this town. i eventually get to the cabin and walk inside, locking the door as soon as I put bag down near the coat-rack and then I headed into kitchen to get some dinner cooking and warm my self up by the fireplace and maybe read for a bit, before going to bed. Taking off my cloak and started getting ready for bed after taking off this heavy dress and putting into the makeshift closet I made and then grabbed my nightgown and put it on. Making my way to bed and crashing into a dreamless sleep, like the other nights these past few weeks that have gone by far to quickly, from when I was at the local tavern, getting drinks with the bards and some of the waitresses that were working there.

Hours pass since I've seen the rest of the pack and that girl that was watching us during a pack meeting that upset my brother, and then we all chased after her, to see what she was doing disturbing our peace and watching us. My brother lost track of her eventually and he went back into the forest with the others while I stayed behind and looked around for any tracks from her and then I found some footprints leading towards my father's old cabin where he was living, before he passed away and joined my Mother in heaven. he took in both of us and helped raise me and and made sure that I was taught well and started working and earning an reasonable income before, my mother died, so that I could support my daughter until she becomes of age and finds her mate or be married off to one of the other alphas. I turn back into my human form and grab my clothes that I left nearby and quickly put them on and then I walk past the cabin and into town to meet up with the others. Once arriving at the tavern, I order a drink and some food, before my brother and daughter arrive, time slips by while I go through drink after drink, trying to numb out the pain of thinking of my late wife and the memories we had shared together and how much I miss her. but she wasn't apart of the pack and that drove my brother and myself apart for a while, until the news of Vanessa's pregnancy came about and one of the members of the pack heard about it, immediately telling my brother. He visited us the next day and accepted us both back into the pack and promised vanessa, that she and the baby would be protected by the pack.

There was nights when I wouldn't see Vanessa for hours on end and she wouldn't come home until it was very late at night, because she was working extra hours alot, which meant she didn't have time to look after Sophia while I went out hunting, instead I asked my sister in law Madison to watch her until I came back to pick her up. Apparently vanessa was seeing someone else and had a whole another life with someone else and had other kids, she was a very rich business woman and had dealt with criminals and Mafia bosses and then she crossed the wrong people and was killed by one of her old clients. He was an old lover of hers and then they were going to get married and then she was shunned from family until she left him, to marry someone of their choosing and carry out an strong bloodline of both their families, since she was apart of the Mafia. It was very important that they had allies from different Mafia families and within the community and the family loyalties were strong within the communities. Some families didn't accept the values and the ongoing respect from the community, and how that respect has been earned. Eventually she was able to escape from her past, faking her death and then going on the run until she found me, changing her name and identity by dying her hair and selling the rest of her clothes from her old life. Burning old documents that were associated with her past life and then getting a new identity and documents to replace the old ones.
