After the Shi-Woon episode with the Sun-Woo and his brief rise to fame, things went back to normal. Going back with a routine is... for the lack of a better word "strange" if I do have to say it myself, principally after so many eventful days that followed done after the other.
I half expected to wake up and kidnaped again, or simply have my house invaded by some burglar with deeper motives. But none of this happened, so I had to swim in a strange and awkward peace that perdured for days. I am not complaining, of course, this peace gave me the necessary and much needed time for me to train and climate myself to some changes after being able to move ki while in movement.
And while I continued training I couldn't help but think about the [Third Step]. The third step involves exerting the Ki to enhance the body's functions and movements. The result is the better usage of martial arts, increase to a certain level the healing speed, becoming able to see the Ki within the surrounding environment, and so on.
Of course, I can already see Ki clearly thanks to my [Sharingan], but normal cultivators are a different history. So how come I am not flooded by other cultivators wanting to fight me like I am some piecing of rogue meat if just with the [Third Step] they could already technically see [Ki].
Simply, quantity and quality, I am simply in the initial stages of cultivation so only the sharpest masters or those who possess some kind of special detection technique can notice my [Ki]. Noticing Shi-Woon's [Ki] is easy, as the guy is practically screaming with that huge amount of [Ki] of his, but from someone with little as I have, it is way more difficult. Thus only those with the sharpest senses can do it.
And then comes another factor, for me reaching the [Third Step] of [Ki] control is proving to be way easier than the previous times. I suspect that the way I am training my [Ki] control is correlated to this. Liking it or not, using [Fierce Tiger Style] and the [Thunder Fist Style] to train both my control and martial arts style this way was quite a good decision.
The results are unquestionable and speak for themselves so I have little to complain, much sooner than I anticipated I will be able to reach the [Third Step] of [Ki] control, I can't wait to find out how much my vision will improve if I mix my [Sharingan] with the buff [Ki] gives to my sight.
Heh and the day I am able to truly mix [Ki] and [Ripple] perfectly is the day that some of my enemies will weep, seen the results of such combination cause on subordinate I have no doubt that is one of the ways I can become truly overpowered. Some people may even call it cheating, and I will answer that; if they aren't cheating they aren't trying enough.
Talking about cheating I found a way to get assess to an advanced hospital that is in the folds of the cultivation bullshit that is happening. When I transfer my mother to the said hospital I can finally call zen and start the healing procedures.
Sadly for the opportunity to present itself, it will still take a lot of time, so for now I can only wait. At least I can train in this time period, training is pretty good to relax my mind from said things... Now that I think about it, when did I start treating training sessions as a relaxation period?*sigh*.
They continued following the routine normally, wake up, go to school, train, meditate, sleep, and repeat the cycle over and over again. In those cycles of course I observed the amusing events that are Shi-Woon's life, seeing things live is sure way more entertaining than reading it on a manga.
What is admirable is that Shi-Woon has been exercising rather intensely since he came out of the hospital, I know it is partially my fault due to the information I traded with him, but he still did the same on canon so that isn't much change, to be honest here.
His recovery, on the other hand, is even more astonishing seeing it live, when they compared this guy with plenary they weren't joking either. The guy literally destroys his body in some workout routines that can even compare it to mine's and then he sat in a meditative pose rests for some time and is already good to go.
That is impressive even for that constantly uses [Ripple] to cheat healing myself after my workouts, this dude will seriously build a lot of body strength in no time like that.
Then came the fucking posers, a bunch of guys that had some grudge or the other against the Demon King and thought of revenge on his baned disciple. When I heard some of those guys talking I sincerely cringe with how much like a xianxia young master they are close too, the resemblance is so uncanny that I honestly never want to hear then talking again.
The manga severely downplayed how much people wanted Shi-Woon's head, thankfully that red-haired chick was there the whole time to save his sorry ass. she saved his life a lot, and when I mean a lot I really mean it.
I of course didn't waste the opportunity to copy her techniques, principally her cultivation technique. If I am not mistaken her technique is the [Calm Ignition Ki Center Technique] one of most powerful techniques inside of the cultivation world, and if Recruit isn't mistaken this kind of technique is powerful enough to be called [Pseudo Origin Technique], they aren't as good as a [Origin Technique] but its close. But elder Kwon is really a genius by creating a [Pseudo Origin technique] like that, the old man surely is no to be trifled with.
The [Calm Ignition Ki Center Technique] in specific is a rather special case, as we have seen Elder Kwon in the manga is exceptionally fast, and I believe that is thanks to his special technique the [Calm Ignition Ki Center Technique].
The only problem with the [Calm Ignition Ki Center Technique] is that it is incredibly time-consuming to practice, Kwon Jinie the red-haired girl took Twelve years to prepare her body enough just to be eligible to use the said technique. So while the [Calm Ignition Ki Center Technique] can easily make you a speed king among your peers, the time it takes for you to learn it is simply too much for the current me.
That didn't stop me from copying it, you never knew when you would need some reference for future endeavors. But for now, I will stick with my [Origin Technique] even with the chances of it driving me in a fit of insane rage are pretty high.
