The temple was plain and even simpler than Hawi had ever imagined. For a place she had been forced to read about more times than one, it was quite disappointing to be the end release that all of this was what people had been fighting for for years.
It was almost like they were thrust into a world that didn't know the first thing about love and life. This right here was insanity at best and it didn't make any sense to her, even if there was a chance that reality was something they could take a chance on.
The temple looked like a big hall, with one revered table at the center of it all. Everything was covered in gold and many things in here were simple, perhaps the reminder that at the end of the day, life would always remain a simpler one for everyone.
It wasn't hard to understand, but there had to be better things to fight for than gold, right?
