[GREYSON]
Silence.
That was the only thing that could be heard from Rukiya's office.
Hawi had gone into silence; you would think she hadn't been the one who caused trouble. It was deafening and if this were any other situation, Malika would have tried to reach her mistress. But she knew that she couldn't, not even if she wanted to so badly.
Perhaps coming to Greyson was the right idea, but was it told when Hawi seemed to be plotting Malika's murder in her head?
"Who are you?" Rukiya asked as she looked at Malika who was currently parading at Nkatha.
The protector considered changing her mind about everything. She considered plugging in as Sherry's niece, but she was even better. She knew that she would be forced into a game of what-ifs and with Hawi, that was more than just a game.
It was a dangerous one, a game that could result in more losses than Malika was willing to tolerate.
