Life was pretty normal for me. I lived at home did not pay rent or anything; I really had an easy going life. Well until the fateful day that my life turned upside down.
It was a sunny Saturday afternoon; the weather report said it was going to be nice out. So I disided to go out for a change, I put my blue shorts on with my black t-shirt, threw on a part of nice shoe and left home.
It had been a long while since I left the house, well since I don't really like getting out much. The weather has been really crappie lately, so days like this really made me want to go out.
I headed to my normal spot, the good old ice cream shop my best friend May's family runs. It's nothing fancy, but I get a free ice cream every time I go there.
He walked into the door to the shop as he waved to May who was working the front end. "Hey May!" He called to her as she smiled at him." Hey Kinuzme, you came around the time you always do when good weather strikes. "May giggled, her waist long hair beautiful green eyes and outgoing personally were all things that attracted me to her, but she always treated me like a brother so... I'm in a permanent friend zone.
Kinuzme sighed as he looked at her and blushed softly." Can I have my usual?" He asked her as she nodded and giggled again as she ran off to get it for him. Kinuzme sat by the window, it was always the spot he sat at just so he could watch the outside of the store for them.
Today he just thought it would end up like every other nice day. May would leave early and then they would chill at his place till later that day, but his plans were about to change and not in a good way.
It happened so suddenly as I turned to look at May coming over with my ice cream as she suddenly just stopped moving, with a look of true fear in her expression." Hey is everything ok?" He asked her as the moment he got up he hears it.

A sound he wishes he did not hear." Everyone doesn't move. If you want to live today sit on the floor, owner gives me all the money in the register." The large man said with a big gun as he clearly meant business. The owner complied as soon as he got the money he looked over to May and smirked.
You are coming with me girly; you are my ticket out of here. The large man said as he could clearly see outside that there were police waiting for him. The man roughly grabbed May as she squirmed as best she could, but the man was way too strong for her.
"If you don't stop moving, I will kill everyone here!" The man yelled as she stopped moving as the man pointed the gun at her head and started to make his way out towards the door.
Kinuzme was worried, would she even be set free? Could he really do nothing? Thoughts rushed into his head as he gulped. He had to try this was his best friend and he was not going to let this bastered take her. He pulled out the knife he kept in his pocket incase he needed it for well anything, he was just not expecting it to be this.
Kinuzme moved quickly and rushed the large man stabbing him in the side. Once he managed that the large man yelled in pain as he threw May away to the side and grabbed Kinuzme by the neck as he glared and growled." So you want to be a hero hmm? Fine then you can die like one!" The large man said as he shot Kinuzme in the chest, but not before he himself was shot to the ground.
May rushed over to Kinuzme as the officers took care of the large male, one of the others called for an ambulance. Kinuzme could feel it, he was not going to last till they got here. His eyes looked over into May's as he sighed." Sorry, it really looks like I screwed up again." He said with a laugh as he coughed hard as blood started to come from his mouth." Kin you dumb ass, why would you do that? You got yourself so... so badly hurt for me..." May said as she started to tear up and cry.
He could not leave her like this as he moved the best he could as he touched his forehead to hers."Silly, I did this because I love you. Nothing else mattered, but making sure you were safe."He said as he coughed up blood."
Look May, I more likely won't make it. I will be honest with you so just do me one favor. Live on and be happy. That's all I want you to do for me, that way I know I at least made sure you won't get into too much trouble." He said as he smiled weakly May was already crying as she hugged Kinuzme." You are such a jerk to say that to me Kin, you are so mean... I- I will live on and make sure to never forget you. May said to him which made him smile more.
"Good, now one last thing." He said as he suddenly kissed her lips as May blushed heavily." I get to steal your first kiss and have my very on at least before I pass." He laughed weakly as he was holding her hand now. May's family was in a bit of shock as she shook her head." You are definitely a jerk now." May said as she laughed with him. Feel his pulse slowly fade until there was nothing more.
He could feel himself in so sort of dark void, unable to see or hear anything."I wonder if I am going to hell." He thought to himself as he soon saw a light and hears a voice?" Wake up, you good for nothing pest!" It sounded like May's, but much softer and angrier. He continued to push towards the light as it was getting closer and closer.
"Come on, I don't have all day for a low life like you to wake up." "I hear it again. Who is that voice and who is she talking to? "He thought as soon as he reached the light he felt like he took his first gasp of air in years.
"So the new pest finally woke up!" The voice said as Kinuzme looked around and soon say a small girl around 5'7" with snow white hair, bright yellow eyes and a long red dress on." Who are you?" Kinuzme asked as he saw her smirk." I am your master you good for nothing dragon." The woman said as the words where running this his head as he move his hand to rub his head as he could fell it horns."WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED!!?!?!?" He thought as be looked up to the girl again." I guess... I was brought back to life... this is going to be interesting..." He thought to himself as he sighed hope things would not get any worse for him.
