Chapter 1 - The Transmigration

"Arghhhhhh!" A piercing sound disturbed the previously tranquil environment.

The birds were alarmed and flew away in fright.

Long Chen looked at his surroundings in bewilderment. Lush trees were growing around him, flowers blooming in abnormal sizes, and he vaguely saw figures of weird looking animals.

Where was he?

The last thing he remembered was the betrayal by one of his most trusted subordinates. He had treated him not as his underling, but as a brother, yet he had let down his trust for him.

He realized a lot of things when he was dying.

A scene of a delicate lady crying her heart out while painfully screaming out his name surfaced in his mind, and his heart seemed to be sliced in many pieces.

It was too pain. Too pain for him to endure. Disregarding the unfamiliar environment he was in, he choked out tears.

"I'm sorry….I've let you down…" Chen Long painfully cried out in between his tears, clutching his heart in pain.

"Why was I…so stupid? How could I…not realize how important you were to me?" He choked out.

He felt like his heart was pierced again and again, broken apart and teared to pieces.

He pulled back his heart and roared out in pain, his thundering cry echoing throughout the forest.

Red drops dripped down from his hands onto the ground, slowly staining it red.

He didn't care.

It took him a long time to regain his sense and pull himself together. His blood stained hands lightly pressed onto the ground, and he stood up slowly.

Step by step, he walked out of the forest.

From his recently assimilated memories, he was in the Blue Wind Mountain, an area where monsters ran rampant.

As for why he was here, the reason was quite complicated.

His identity was special. The sole young master of the Long clan. The Long clan was one of the four major clans in the Rainwan continent. His father had demon level talent for cultivation, while his grandfather was the strongest in the clan.

His status in the clan as the Young Master was basically solid and immovable.

So obviously, the only people who would dare to deal with him were the people from the other 3 clans.

Lin Qin, Wang Yun, Tang Chen.

The three young masters of the Lin Clan, Wang Clan and the Tang Clan. \

They were proclaimed as the 3 princes in the Rainwan continent. They were considered as genius existences.

Lin Qin, age 18, 2th Elementary Realm.

Wang Yun, age 19, 4th Elementary Realm

Tang Chen, age 20, 5th Elementary Realm.

Cultivation Levels were classified from

Body Refining Realm; Qi Refining Realm; Elementary Realm; Spirit Realm; Sky Realm; King Realm; Emperor Realm; Monarch Realm; Ancestor Realm.

With each Realm further broken down into 10 smaller realms.

Those who were able to reach the 3rd Great Realm before the age of 20 could be counted with one hand in the Rainwan Continent.

The 3 Young Masters were apparently had some capabilities to reach such a level at their age. This definitely earned themselves some pride and arrogance.

But there was a reason why they were named as the 3 princes.

Because there was still another person. An anomaly in history. Four princes from four great clans. This was the tradition that had been set since many years ago.

But with the birth of Long Chen, this tradition was basically set aside.

At the age of 5, when babies were still learning how to cultivate, Long Chen reached the 2nd Great Realm, the Qi Refining Realm.

At the age of 10, he reached the 3rd Great Realm, the Elementary Realm.

At the age of 13, he is standing steadily at the peak of the Elementary Realm.

How could such an existence be put on the same title as the three other young masters?

It would be an insult to his name. They were considered as geniuses, but in front of Long Chen, they weren't worth anything.

Therefore, the four young masters of the four clans, were named as the 3 Princes and the King.

This sparked jealously and anger within them. For such heaven pride geniuses, how could they bear to be put beneath others?

However, they could not do anything but swallow their anger, because not only was Long Chen also from the Great Clan, he was also from the strongest one.

They couldn't afford to deal with him. The consequences would be unimaginable if they were found out, not considering the fact that they were weaker than him.

When they found out that Long Chen sneaked out of the Long clan by himself, they were the first to react and sent their forces to deal with him not that he was alone and defenceless.

Who would give up on the chance to deal away with a future threat to their clan? Especially one like Long Chen who had unlimited potential.

Of course, the three Clans also suffered losses from this expedition.

Out of the 18 Spirit Realm Cultivators they had sent out, 14 had died, while the 4 had suffered serious injuries.

Long Chen was not named the greatest genius of the century without a reason.

The only relief was that Long Chen had died.

The benefits had outweighed the losses.

Or so they thought.

Because Long Chen was still alive.

Or you could say, a Long Chen from another world was alive.

He never let his enemies off, especially those who threatened his life.

Now that he had a grasp of the situation, Long Chen had a plan in mind. Get stronger, get rid of the 3 other clans, establish a sole monarch in the Rainwan continent. It was as simple as that.

And it all started from a "ding" sound that echoed within his mind.

Host: Long Chen

Age: 13

Cultivation Level: 10th Elementary Realm

Cultivation Art: Great Dragon Art (Mid-Tier Human)

Skills: Tai Ji Fists (Beginner)

Seeing this. Long Chen laughed heartily for a long while. A system? The system that is commonly written in fantasy novels.

Long Chen laughed at this thought. What an irony. The very fantasy novels that I disdain and condescend. Yet this situation actually happened onto me.

He had crossed over to another world and had bound onto a system.

It also solved his current problems for cultivation, since he had basically no experience for it.

In the novels, you can cultivate by killing monsters, right?

As this thought flashed past his mind, his lips curled up into a smile, and he walked back into the forest.

Looks like it is time for some fun. Long Chen thought to himself as he looked towards the furry creature in front of him.

The law of the jungle. The strong prevails. Long Chen will never feel pity for the weak, nor will he go easy on the pitiful.

Magical beasts are classified by grades, with grade 1 being the lowest and grade 9 being the highest. They correspond to the 9 Human Cultivation Realms.

For a peak elementary realm cultivator like himself, the Grade 1 rabbit in front of him could not threaten him in anyway.

Throwing a casual punch at it, the rabbit was frightened and tried to run, but under Long Chen's overwhelming strength and speed, it was too slow and could not dodge.

Impacted by the punch, it immediately flew back and died.

[Ding…Congratulations to Host for Killing a Grade 1 Rabbit. + 10 Exp]

As he thought, killing monsters did give experience, which would aid his cultivation.

He pulled up his panel

Host: Long Chen

Age: 13

Cultivation Realm: 10th Elementary Realm (10/1000)

Cultivation Art: Great Dragon Art (Mid-Tier Human): 0/100

Skills: Tai Ji Fists (Low-Tier Human): 0/100

If killing a Grade 1 Monster gave out 10 Exp, that meant that he only needed to kill 100 Grade 1 Monsters to breakthrough into the fourth great Realm, the Spirit Realm.

Having this thought in his mind, Long Chen proceeded on to crazily hunt the surrounding monsters around him.

Because he was not too deep into the forest, all the monsters were either Grade 1 or 2, so it was not too hard for him.

Waving his fists and making use of his skill, the Tai Ji Fists, he realized that he also gained quite some Experience when he had practiced it.

[Ding…+1 Proficiency]

Not before long, he had finally killed off enough monsters to upgrade. Surrounding him were numerous carcasses, and went he had enough experience to breakthrough into the Spirit Realm, a wave of power filled him, before exploding out into the surroundings, sweeping away the dust.

He felt a new, unfamiliar strength within him that was much more powerful than before.

So this was the Spirit Realm.

Host: Long Chen

Cultivation Realm: 1th Spirit Realm

Cultivation Art: Great Dragon Art (Mid-Tier Human): 0/100

Skills: Tai Ji Fists (Low-Tier Human): 99/100

He was just one proficiency away from reaching 100.

He punched out into the air using the Tai Ji Fists. The overwhelming strength destroyed the nearby tree, turning them into dust.

How powerful!

[Ding…+1 Proficiency]

[Ding…Tai Ji Fists upgraded to Mid-Tier Human]

A new wave of information entered in his brain, and he suddenly felt enlightened. Many different variations of the Tai JI Fists, as well as the improved versions appeared within his sight.

They all merged into his memories, as though he had been the one practicing the Tai Ji Fists for many years.

The Spirit Realm and a Mid-Tier Human Combat Skill.

This was enough to devastate the three Young Masters.

But he didn't just want to devastate them. He wanted completely destroy them. He wanted to leave them no chance to take revenge. He wanted them to sink into endless despair just like he did when they tried to kill him.

Those who offend me, will die in the most gruesome ways.

This, is the consequence of offending me.

Even if you are the Heavenly Emperor, I will still chase you down throughout the 9 Heavens and kill you.

Leaving this thought behind, he turned back and continued hunting.

In a large and spacious hall, jewels glittered and flowers bloomed, decorating the scene.

It was glorious and majestic, yet the atmosphere was stifling.
