Gin stood back up, and I watched the corners of his lips rise into a smile. His sudden expression change scared me a bit, but I guess that is his personality.
"Where do you want to go today? The city? To a shopping district or a, I don't where do you want to go?" Gin asked me while I giggled.
"Gin, you do realize I haven't introduced myself to you," I said, and his mouth opened, which I closed back. "A fly might enter your mouth."
"Then I should reintroduce myself again. My name is Gin, a magician from the tower. It's a pleasure to meet you," He smiled, which made me smile. "I forgot to add. No need to add, sir. I honestly don't like you calling me with a sir."
I nodded my head and went to introduce myself, "My name is Floriana Conley. You can call me Flora for short."
"Then do you have to want to go out? I can teleport us out of here to the city," Gin said in utmost excitement.
"You can do that?" I asked, and he nodded his head.
"Watch," He said and opened a portal and entered, then exited behind me. I jumped, surprised by his sudden actions. But it was fascinating. "Though I can say you'll feel a bit dizzy going from one place to another using this."
"But, can I go out? I have to ask permission from Kaeden."
"You're right," He frowned and sat on the ground like a grumpy kid.
"How about we go together once I've gotten his approval?" I said, and his smile returned, then he jumped up.
A small flying light entered my room, and a voice came out from it saying, "Sir Gin, I've finally found you! Please head back to the tower. Master Kaeden has an important matter to discuss with you."
Gin turned his back, ignoring the light and pretend not to hear anything. The light went in front of Gin, who turned his back away from it. The process repeated at least for five minutes until they both got tired.
"Sir Gin, please, if not, Master Kaeden will cut my head," begged the light, whose voice trembled.
"Damn that kid. He has no manners at all," muttered Gin. "Fine, I'll go. Tch, I could have enjoyed my free time today." Gin opened a portal for them, and before leaving, he said, "You have to promise me we're going together!"
I nodded my head and waved goodbye to him. I looked around the room, seeing it a bit messy after Gin and his small fight with the light.
Now that you think of it, his hair is silver but leans on the platinum blonde shade. I swear I've seen those shades of eye color before. I sighed in frustration. It's all a mess. My dreams feel more like a lost memory of mine.
I clenched my fist without knowing and only relaxed when I heard a knock on the door. The door opens, and walks in Bianca only to be shocked by the sudden mess in the room.
"I can explain this," I said.
After explaining for ten long minutes, she sighed aloud and shook her head, looking stressed. Stressed not about me but about Gin.
"Sir Gin comes and goes like usual. He creates a huge mess which we end up needing to clean the room or worst repairing a wall," said Bianca.
"I see," I said, not asking anything more. I now understand that Gin really does act like a kid around anyone.
"But it's impressive how you drove him away," added Bianca, hanging a towel around her arm.
"I didn't drive him away. He had some issues to do back in the tower with Kaeden."
"Master? Why is the visi…never mind about that," Bianca continued to clean the room up, and I went to help her do a bit.
Morning fell, and I continued to read the book from earlier as I waited for my lunch to arrive. This book is quite interesting. I never knew that the silver flower tree had guardians to protect it. But why didn't they stop Floriana from destroying it? I should ask Bianca. She might know about this.
When Bianca entered the room with a tray, I stood up and walked to the table. "Bianca, I have a question."
"Sure, what is it?" She asked while placing my meal down.
"I read a book earlier, and it said that there are guardians protecting the silver flower tree. But why was the tree still destroyed? They could have stopped Floriana from destroying it."
"Hm…I don't know. I wasn't born at that time. Maybe you can ask Sir Gin or Chancellor Alice or even Sir Yustaf about it," answered Bianca, hugging the tray around her arms once the food and the utensil were set on the table.
"Oh, I see. Anyway, thank you," I said, and she bowed her head then left the room.
There are two guardians protecting the tree, but only one ends up guarding the tree. Where did the other guardian go then? Guardians are some of the most powerful magicians in the world.
They are born with a silver leaf and trained to protect the tree from any harm. Once they awaken and receive their powers from the tree. There are changes to their appearances. For instance, their hair color turns silver, and their eye color turns blue.
I tilted my head to the side. This description sounds like someone. Where have I seen it before? I dropped my fork on the plate and remembered.
"Gin!" I said out loud and covered my own mouth from embarrassment. Silver hair and blue eyes. Gin first the description very well. Then where is the other guardian? Also, the keeper of the tree?
According to the book, the keeper of the tree has been missing for a hundred years. At the same time, Floriana, the daughter of the Angel Lord, died. But the story of the keeper seems to be forgotten by the people.
Dead or alive. No one knows, but the two guardians might have an idea.
