Troy the tv-series
This great story starts off with an apple, three goddesses who think too highly of themselves, a horny Prince, an ambitious King, a sulking demi-god and in the end a great city shall fall but the people shall somehow become the descendants of the Romans and British.
Location: Hisarlik, Canakkale, Troy.
To make this experience even more worthwhile, imagine this story being told by Nestor, with background music by Orpheus.

Meanwhile in the underworld;
" It seems that I am going to be busy " said Thanatos, the god of peaceful death.
" Sweety, don't overwork yourself, please take better care of yourself " said Macaria, daughter of Hades and Persephone, she is also known as the goddess of blessed death, she is sweet, kind, innocent and the wife of Thanatos.
" I will do my best, " said Thanatos with a smile.
" I could not ask for more, " said Macaria with a smile that could give the dead life, husband and wife now kissed.
Inside Hades castle, where many gardens could be seen.
" Father, send me, and I will bring an end to this conflict " said Plutus, son of Hades and Persephone, he is a very loyal son who loves his parents very much.
" No my son, I will not have you bring more death than necessary " said King Hades.
" Father, with all due respect, I think that Plutus and I could easily bring an end to the war, we have after all, the blessing of bloodline " said Mesperyian, the oldest of Hades' and Persephone's children, let us just say, that she has been through a lot, oh, and blessing of bloodline is something that all the children of Hades and Persephone have, it is a power which grant them all access to the powers and abilities of their relatives.
" Oh lightened up you two, there is no reason for us to do anything, besides, all of them will eventually come to the underworld " said Zagreus, the laid back one of the children, Zagreus enjoys a good party and a good cup of wine, which might explain why he is such good friends with Dionysus.
Hades sat on his throne in meditation, he then said;
" Where is Melinoë? "
" She is with her husband, the dragon-knight " said Queen Persephone.
Hades groaned in pain, let us just say that Melinoë is the rebellious one among the children.
" Oh don't be like that " said Persephone with a smile.
" Just promise me, that when you three also marry, that you will at least visit us from time to time " said Hades with the pain of missing his daughter.
" Uhm dad, Melinoë does visit from time to time " said Plutus.
" Brother, what father meant was that he wished for our sister to visit more, " said Mesperyian.
Queen Persephone was rubbing Hades back;
" Come now sweety, at least Jacob has given us grandchildren "
Hades now had a warm smile.
" Indeed, which means he gave 'it' to sis " said Zagreus in his drunken state.
Hades now had a horrified expression on his face.
Persephone glared at her son.
" Whoops... " said Zagreus as he was filling his mouth with wine.
" Honey " said Persephone as she was leaning closer to her beloved husband;
" Listen, our children will one day move out from the kingdom they grew up in, but that does not mean that they will forget us, their parents " said Queen Persephone as she was placing her forehead on Hades' cheek.
Hades looked at Plutus, Mesperyian and Zagreus, and all three had smiles which said; we will never abandon our parents.
Hades once again had a warm smile.
" Plutus "
" Yes father "
" We will not involve ourselves in this war, Thanatos and Charon will both carry out their duties and the only thing we will do is take care of the souls who enter the underworld, like we always do " said Hades with the smile of a King and a father.
The children obeyed and the matter was settled.
Episode 2:
Alexandros, also known as Paris, in a moment where he was filled with pride and confidence wished for trial by single-combat with Menelaus, the victor would have Helen as their reward.
Priam, the current King of Troy and father to Hector, Paris and others, made an oath with Agamemnon, if Alexandros won, then all the greeks would leave without Helen, but, if Menelaus won, Helen would be returned and King Priam would have to pay a fine which would later be numbered, the oath was made as the gods were witnesses, the battle began and it looked like Menelaus would win, but at the last second, Paris was saved by the goddess of love and beauty, who took Alexandros back to his room where he met a angry Helen, but in the end, Paris and Helen would have angry sex, buuuut, sex is still sex after all.
At Olympus, where all the gods are watching everything unfold, Zeus, who is wearing shiny armor covered in a toga, can see that Athena and Hera are rather annoyed, to put it mildly, so Zeus tries to provoke Hera, while Athena remains quiet.
" Why the long face, my dear wife, is there something you would like to say? " said Zeus with a smile.
Hera, who has just about had ENOUGH of her husband's bullshit, for understanding reasons, said;
" Dear, allow Athena to go and make it seem like the Trojans were the first to break their oaths "
" And why would I allow that? " asked the King of Olympus with a smile of; I have all the power and authority, but Hera, calm as ever, said;
" If you do, I will then forgive some of your 'affairs' '' said Hera, with a smile that said; I know everything.
A single drop of sweat could now be seen on Zeus' face, the King then said;
" Athena, go "
Athena went and made it so that the Trojans broke the oath by having Pandarus shot at Menelaus, after that, all hell broke loose, and Thanatos and Charon were now busy as ever, the two of them did their best to make the travel to the underworld as painless as possible, for they knew that the mortals suffered, not just by their own actions, but also the actions of the gods.
Aphrodite returned to Mount Olympus for a moment and went to her room.
" You're busy, " said her lover and the god of war, Ares.
The goddess of beauty simply went over to her mirrors to freshen herself.
" Sorry sweety, but I don't have time to talk, " said Aphrodite who went over and kissed Ares, the goddess then left Mount Olympus.
Ares simply sighed and then went out the door where Achlys was awaiting her lord.
Let me quickly explain, Achlys is the leader of the Keres, who are a fusion between vampires and valkyries.
Vampires = Sexy.
Valkyries = Beautiful.
Keres = Both.
The Keres, like the norse valkyries, have the job of getting the fallen warriors to the underworld, but unlike their norse-counterparts, the Keres also drink the blood of the fallen warriors, hence the vampire connection.
All the Keres have beautiful pale-white skin, their eyes are like the color of blood itself, the color of their hair have an exquisite color of blond and they all have the wings of a raven.
Like I said, Achlys is the leader of the Keres, but she, like all the greek valkyries, is under the command of Ares and loyal only to the god of war.
" My lord, what is your desire? " asked Achlys.
Ares was quiet for a moment, he then said;
" For now, keep the Keres on stand-by "
" What will you do, my lord? "
" I am going for a walk, " said the god of war with his sword in hand and a grin on his face.
Now, it is time for some Di-Vines!
(Credit to Red from OSP and the Viners)
" You're cute " - Aphrodite to Ares.
" Mom, what do I do? " - Ares to his mother.
" Just don't do anything weird, " said Hera.
Mars looked at Venus.
" Blarhhhh!!! " - yelled Ares with his sword and shield in hand.
Aphrodite just looked at Ares…...
Episode 3:
A bloody-battle now began between the Greeks and the Trojans, fallen men could be seen everywhere with their organs covering the battlefield while their armor, weapons and horses were taken from them.
Unlike book five, I will not go into greater detail, instead, I will focus on the moment where Diomedes wounded two gods.
Great Diomedes son of Tydeus, wounded Aphrodite, who was trying to get her son Aeneas off the battlefield, Apollo would come to Aeneas' aid and the son of Venus would later join the battle, Aphrodite, by the aid of Iris, returned back to Mount Olympus, but, the god of war had now arrived, and he was thirsty for battle.
Ares landed on the battlefield with the force of a meteor, all the Greeks and Trojans were sent flying to all four directions.
" What is going on? The gods never intervene like this? " said Ajax the lesser whose knees would not stop clapping out of fear.
All the Greeks and Trojans just looked at the god of war, who had a smile on his face.
Ares was in his majestic armor and was wearing his glorious helmet, and he had his legendary sword in hand.
Ares looked towards Diomedes, and the son of Tydeus looked into the red glowing eyes of Ares.
" So, you are the warrior who wounded Aphrodite, " said Ares, both impressed and pissed.
" Great god of war, why have you entered the battlefield visible to all and in your mighty form? " asked Odysseus.
Without looking at Ulysses, Ares said;
" I am here to do this hero, mighty Diomedes an honor, for wounding a god, I will let him have one free swing at me " said Ares with a smile that brought joy to war.
Diomedes was held down by fear, which was brought on by Ares' majestic form, the son of Tydeus then heard a voice;
" Brave Diomedes, banish fear from your heart and soul, mount your chariot, with your spear in hand, and attack Ares, know that I shall be with you, granting you strength and courage " said Athena, who was on Diomedes' chariot and was wearing Hades' helmet of darkness, so not even Ares could see her.
With his beating heart calming down a bit, Diomedes arose and mounted his chariot with his spear in hand, Ares was ready, and Athena gave the horses such a rush of energy that even great Arion would be envious of their speed, as the god of war promise, Diomedes would get one free swing, one free attack, and with the strength that Minerva gave him, mighty Diomedes ran his spear right through the god of war's gut.
All the Greeks, and even the Trojan's cheered, but their cheer went from joy to silent horror, Mars was smiling, and from Ares' gut poured out lava itself.
" I see, Athena must have assisted you " said Ares, still smiling and showing no sign of pain.
Mars then looked around the battlefield, where he saw many gods and goddess, visible only to him, standing ready with their weapons, ready to take on war himself, Ares even saw his mother, kind Juno, on her glorious chariot, giving her son a look which said; leave, or else.
Mars sighed, and then flew back to Mount Olympus, where King Jove wished to have a word with his son, while the battle between the Greeks and Trojans began anew.
" My son, what were you trying to accomplish? " said Zeus from his majestic throne where two eagles could be seen, before Ares could answer, Paean wanted to heal Mars' wound, but Ares simply pulled out the spear from his gut, which resulted in lava pouring out everywhere, Ares then said;
" Your help is not needed, physician " said Mars with a smile.
Paean and Zeus then saw Ares' wound heal on its own, and the lava on the floor had now turned into obsidian, for those wondering, instead of blood, Ares has molten magma running through his veins.
" To answer your question, father, as I am sure you heard, I wanted to give Diomedes a 'reward' for having the bravery to wound a god " said Mars in a calm tone.
Zeus was looking at Ares with an expression which said; What is he up to?
Ares bowed and then excused himself, while Jove was left wondering what kind of scheme Mars had in store.
The battle between the Greeks and the Trojans continue, somehow, during all the bloodshed, Glaucus has the time to tell the story of Bellerophon, where we are told that not only did Bellerophon kill the Chimaera, with the help of Pegasus, but he also killed Solymi and some Amazons….damn.
The battles continued, but now, Paris has finally decided to rejoin his brethren.
Meanwhile, at Achilles' tent.
Achilles and Patroclus were having sex, they had to pass the time somehow, and for those wondering, Achilles was the bottom, just as Plato would say.
Meanwhile at the port of the ferryman, Charon looked at the souls of the Greeks and Trojans who did not have any obol to pay him.
Charon now had the kind smile of a grandfather and then said;
" Psst, just hop on "
The Greeks and Trojans looked in disbelief at the ferryman.
" Come on, " said Charon with the loving voice of a grandfather.
The Greeks and Trojans now hopped on the ferryman's boat, but before Charon left, Hermes came in a flash.
" You're early, " said the ferryman.
" You kidding, this is one of the jobs I enjoy " said fla- I mean- Mercury.
Charon smiled and gave Mercury a sack filled with obols, Charon and Hermes have an arrangement, when Charon has a sack filled with obols, Hermes would come, take the sack and then run around the greek world giving the obols to the poor, because as the ferryman would say;
" The money has to be recycled someway "
" Well, I am off " said Hermes, ready to fulfill his task with joy.
Charon looked at the Greeks and Trojans in his boat, who all looked scared.
" Cheer up, I will take you all to Zagreus, he is the prince who knows how to have fun " said Charon with a smile, and the ferryman now left port.
Episode 4:
After the death of many other warriors, Athena and Apollo suggest a trial by single-combat, they tell their idea to Hector, Hector then tells it to the Greeks, and the two groups agree on the idea.
Hector is the Trojans champion, the Greeks draw lots to see who will be their champion, and in the end, Ajax the great becomes the Greeks champion.
An epic battle now began between Hector and the giant Ajax, neither warrior had any thought of surrendering, but now that Nox had shown herself, Athena and Apollo gave Hector the idea of calling the battle a draw, Ajax agreed.
The Greeks and Trojans now buried and burned their fallen brothers, Charon and Thanatos yet again, did their best to bring some comfort to the dead, luckily, Dionysus had decided to visit the underworld.
The Greeks and Trojans now entered Hypnos' and Morpheus' domain, father and son would watch over the Greeks and Trojans for now, for all of them should get as much sleep as they could, for they were going to need it.
Atop Mount Olympus, where all the gods gathered, not just the twelve, but all, except for those, who were busy as hell in the underworld.
Zeus had gathered them all to say;
" I forbid you all to physically help those you wish "
And with words that reminded them all that he, Zeus, was far superior in power and authority than the rest of them, the gods and goddess would heed his words.
As the light of Hestia, Hyperion, Helios and Apollo now replaced the darkness of Nox, the Greeks and Trojans now prepared for war, and standing on a cloud overlooking the whole conflict, Zeus decided that he was in the mood for helping the Trojans, and lightning showed the Greeks and Trojans that Jove was in favor of the warriors of Troy, a chase now began, with the Trojans chasing the Greeks all the way to the shore where the Greeks ship where.
King Agamemnon, seeing his men scared and running for their lives, stood his ground and then gave a heartfelt speech, that made Zeus take pity on the Greeks, but only for a moment.
A fire was lit in the Achaeans, and the Greeks now stood their ground and fought back against the Trojans, Athena and Hera wanted to come to the Greeks aid, but Iris, who had the word of Zeus with her, told them that it was a bad idea, so Hera and Athena decided that, for now, they do nothing.
Zeus returned to his castle, where he was met with whispers and glares.
Nox showed herself again in the sky, replacing the four light-deities and Hemera with them.
The Trojans, fearing that the Greeks might board their ships and try to escape in the middle of the night, set up camps near the shore, so they could keep an eye on the ships.
The Achaeans were in bad shape, they had lost many good men and they were pushed way back to the shore, the Greeks needed a miracle, they needed Achilles.
Episode 5:
After rest and supper, some of the Greek leaders now motivated Agamemnon to swallow his pride and accept the fact that he insulted Achilles by taking Briseis from him.
Without hesitation, Agamemnon admits his fault and is willing to give Briseis back to the son of Peleus, and not ally that, Agamemnon also promises many great riches, from land to women and gold if Achilles rejoins the Greeks in sacking Troy.
With that, Odysseus, Ajax the great and Phoenix son of Amyntor and Achilles' foster-father, now all three went to Achilles' tent, where the son of Peleus and Patroclus were.
After having eaten and drink for a bit, great Odysseus now said;
" Achilles, great hero and lover to Patroclus-Patroclus blushed by those words and became all shy, while Achilles just smiled- Agamemnon has promised you riches which not even King Midas could dream of and of course, he will return Briseis back to you, with that in mind, will you return to battle? "
Achilles meditated for a moment and then said;
" Odysseus, beloved by Minerva, I shall say this once, there is nothing the son of Atreus can offer me which will bring me back to battle "
Ajax, whose anger got the better of him, said;
" Warrior Achilles, great demi-god and he who is above me, how does thou utter these words? Does the lives of thy comrades mean nothing? Wilt thou throw it all away for thine hurt pride?
Join us, your brothers-in-arms for glory and everlasting fame! "
But Achilles refused, it all came down to Achilles' foster-father, but not even he could convince his son.
Ajax and Odysseus now left, Phoenix remained with Achilles, for the son of Peleus would leave first thing in the morning and he had offered Phoenix to come back with him to Phthia, which Phoenix accepted, there was nothing more to do then to enter the realm of Hypnos and Morpheus, but not all entered the kingdom of sleep, the Greeks wanting to know what the Trojans were up to, sendt brave Diomedes and Odysseus.
While on their way to the Trojan camp, Odysseus and Diomedes ran into the Trojans spy, Dolon, the two Greeks killed Dolon and with the help of Athena, Odysseus and Diomedes killed thirteen more Trojans including a King, the two Greeks then stole some horses and went back to the Achaeans where they were met with cheer and praise, while the Trojans, warned by Apollo, had found their dead comrades and were now filled with shame and regret.
Episode 6:
Light was high in the sky, and the Greeks and the Trojans were yet again ready for battle, and the gods were ready to aid those they favored, and it seemed that great Zeus was still on the side of the Trojans, no grand speech was given, all that was heard, was the sound of weapons and the cries of dead men.
After having slaughtered many Trojans, Agamemnon was forced to retreat because of wounds inflicted on him, later, Diomedes and Ulysses would retreat as well.
The massacre that took place, made the fangs of the Keres water with joy and excitement, the greek vampire-valkyries were thirsty, but for now, the battle yet continued but Nestor was forced to retreat for he was bringing a wounded Machaon back to camp.
Achilles saw Nestor and Machaon but did not realize that it was them, so he sent Patroclus to confirm, Patroclus ran like the wind to Nestor's tent, when Nestor first laid eyes on the lover of Achilles, he was filled with joy, but that joy quickly turned into despair when Patroclus said that Achilles would still not join the war.
Filled with anger and regret at the sight of his fallen brothers-in-arms, Nestor gave a heartfelt speech that moved Patroclus' heart to tears and compassion, Patroclus left Nestor's tent, but before Patroclus returned to his loves tent, he quickly helped Eurypylus, it seemed that the son of Menoetius had much room in his heart, not just for his love for Achilles but also compassion for others, no wonder that the son of Peleus cared so much for this brave young man who cared for the well-being of all.
Let us take a moment to return to the battle where the Trojans have broken through the gates of the wall the Greeks had built at shore, but to the people of Troy's surprise, the Greeks were still fighting strong, like a wounded animal who had nothing to lose but his whole life to gain, Ajax the great and his brother; Teucer, were even able to push back Sarpedon, a son of Zeus.
It now seemed that the battle was at a standstill, the Trojans were merciless and the Greeks were unyielding.
Episode 7:
The battle between the Greeks and Trojans still raged on, mighty Jupiter, thinking that the Trojans victory was all about assured and no god dared to assist the Greeks, turned his gaze away from the battle, but that was when, from within the deep blue sea, at Atlantis itself, was Posiedon, god of the oceans and everything within.
Neptune had taken pity on the Greeks.
Posiedon opened a hole in the earth which swallowed some the Trojans, that is right, Poseidon is also known as the god of earthquakes.
A thunderbolt roared which Poseidon immediately knew, was his brothers way of saying;
" Brother of mine, why are you going against me? "
Poseidon ignored Zeus and continued helping the Greeks, Jove, wanting to see how things played out, did nothing, just like the rest of the gods at Olympus.
It was now time for Idomeneus to prove himself, and boy did he!
Idomeneus killed several of the Trojans and by doing so, pushed the Trojans further back.
The warriors of Troy were losing ground, and the Greeks felt their whole bodies burn with fire from Nike.
It was the owl, known as Ascalaphus who told his master, Hades, that his two brothers were "fighting" which just put a smile on the god of heaven and hell's face, for Jove and Neptune were both of the same mind, especially when it came to women….. so it was rare for them to oppose and disagree with one another.
The battle continued.
Hera was pleased to see that Poseidon was helping the Greeks, but she feared that her husband might take an interest in the war again, so she came up with a plan.
Juno made herself so alluring that not even Zeus could resist her, but, to be on the safe side, Hera got the help of Venus and Hypnos, Zeus was now knocked out with love and sleep.
Hypnos then went and told the news to Poseidon.
Neptune hearing of this news lit a fire in all the Greek warriors, and it was with this fire, that Ajax the great was able to wound Hector who was dragged away from the battle.
It now seemed like the TIDES were in the Greeks favor.
Episode 8:
Ares, the god of war, is doing his duty as a father, his son; Ascalaphus has been killed, and now, Mars is giving his son a warrior's burial.
Orpheus plays a song similar to the one in the town within Hades.
Accompanying Orpheus was poor Thamyris who wanted to hear the song of legendary Orpheus.
The god of war was silent the whole time, Venus who was there, said;
" It is okay if you cry " said she with the smile she is famous for.
Ares turned around and that was when Aphrodite saw the glowing red eyes of Mars, were as dry as a desert in great Egypt.
" He died as a warrior, that is why, I will only give him honors and glory, and not tears " said Ares walking past Venus, but the goddess could hear that the god was crying, a lot, within his heart.
Ares and Aphrodite both returned to Mount Olympus and mighty Ascalaphus was welcomed with open arms by Hades.
Zeus Hypsistarians, finally awoke and immediately knew of his wife trickery, Jove was also furious at the fact that his brother was still aiding the Greeks, the King of all thus spoke;
" I see that you and my brother are working togeth- but Hera caught her husband off by saying;
" Poseidon is working of his own accord " said the Queen with a calm smile.
Zeus believed his wife.
" What I decree is what the fates shall make so, I will send Iris to tell my brother to cease aiding the Greeks, I will then have Apollo go and heal Hector, the Trojans will then break through the Greek ranks and get close to the ships at shore, but that is when, I will have Patroclus, dressed in Achilles' armor, push the Trojans back, Hector will then kill Achilles' heart and joy, and that is when the son of Peleus will enter the battle, killing Hector and ensuring the Greeks victory, with the fall of Troy " said Zeus Hypsistarians, who then sent Hera to Olympus to tell of what was going to happen, which filled Venus with horror and despair.
Ares was walking within the eternal kingdom, trying to get his mind off something, and that was when Aphrodite grabbed a piece of his armor.
" What do you want? " asked Mars, who did not even turn around to look at the goddess, Ares then heard something hit the floor, he looked, and saw tears, he then looked at Venus, who was crying exquisite tears, but the god of war was unmoved.
" What do you want? " he asked again.
" I need time to save my son " said Venus with a smile of true love of which she represented.
Ares uttered no words, he simply walked away, towards the stable, where his chariot, pulled by his horses; fear and despair were…. Athena would try and talk him out of it, but the mind of the god of war was made up.
Patroclus finally entered Achilles' tent.
" Ah, my love, I have written a love song for you, now, I am no Pan, Apollo or Orpheus, but I still hope that you will listen to it " said the handsome demi-god with a smile, that melt the sorrow and grief from the heart of Patroclus, but only for a moment.
" My love, my reason to live, tell me, will you still refuse to aid the Greeks? " asked the son of Menoetius with a voice that could even soothe the greatest of disasters.
Achilles' smile was now gone, he then said;
" I refuse indeed " he was no longer in the mood to sing, not even a love song.
Patroclus simply walked over, and placed his hand on the beautiful face that was Achilles.
" Then my love, grant me your armor, so that I may aid the Greeks " said the sweet and innocent Patroclus, who now sounded more like a warrior.
Achilles was taken back by those words.
" But, why?! " asked the demi-god.
" People suffer, is that not reason enough " said Patroclus, now in his common sweet tone.
Achilles arose and walked around with all his emotions at his throat.
" But why him!... Why Agamemnon!! WHY?!! " said Achilles, not knowing what to do with himself.
Patroclus, being the calm sea to thundering Achilles, and with compassion and love said;
" My joy, my love, my Achilles, you ask why Agamemnon, but I say, I do not do this for the King of the Greeks, I do this for the Greeks themselves, I wish to aid my fellow brethren, who are being slaughtered and hunted, like innocent sheep by bloodthirsty wolves, I understand that your pride is still hurt and thus, you wish not to aid the King and his people, but let me, dressed in your armor, fight the Trojans, who have brought us all this suffering "
Achilles did not know what to say, but he had to make a choice, between his pride, or his love, he chose the former.
Achilles and Patroclus shared a kiss, which sadly, would be their last in that world.
Patroclus now dawned the armor and shield of Achilles, but the spear of Achilles was a spear only the son of Peleus could wield, so Patroclus took his own, and with the Myrmidons, and with the aid of Achilles' sister, Polydora, they ensured that the Trojans knew the meaning of fear and despair.
Honestly, I encourage you guys to read book 16 yourselves, for I don't feel like I can do justice to how badass Patroclus is described in it, I will however highlight the fact; that Patroclus killed Sarpedon, a son of Zeus!!!
As Patrick Rothfuss would say;
" There are three things all wise men fear: the sea in a storm, a night with no moon, and the anger of a gentle man "
But, as Zeus had fated, Patroclus would fall, by the hands of Hector, when the son of Menoetius fell, the invulnerable Achilles, for the first time ever, felt pain, his heart had shattered.
A fierce battle now began for Patroclus' body.
Episode 9:
To say that the dead body of Patroclus became more valuable than the war itself, would be an understatement.
The Greeks and the Trojans fought for the position of Patroclus' body.
The ironic thing is, many Greeks and Trojans died trying to take the dead body to their side, Hector all dressed himself in Achilles' armor, after taking it from Patroclus' corpse.
Even Zeus himself was amazed at the size of Hector's balls.
In the end, Menelaus and Meriones were able to carry Patroclus' dead body off the battlefield, while the two Ajaxes held all the Trojans back.
Antilochus son of Nestor, was sent ahead to deliver the sorrowful news to the son of Peleus.
When Antilochus reached the sea shore, he saw the son of Peleus sitting by his tent, the son of Nestor went and told Achilles the bitter news while weeping bitterly, and book 18 explains Achilles' reaction well;
" A dark cloud of grief fell upon Achilles as he listened. He filled both hands with dust from off the ground, and poured it over his head, disfiguring his comely face, and letting the refuse settle over his shirt so fair and new. He flung himself down all huge and hugely at full length, and tore his hair with his hands. " - Book 18 of the Iliad.
Thetis head her son's cry of sorrow and came to his aid, where she learned of Patroclus' death, the silver-footed sea nymph knew that her son's death was close and seeing that her boy had no armor, she went to Vulcan to get some, but for now, the Trojans were closing in on the Greeks who were at the shore, Iris, who was sent by Hera, told Achilles that he had to help the Greeks, having promised his mother not to fight without armor, and with the help of Athena, Achilles scared off all the Trojans, with his VOICE.
Achilles and Patroclus were reunited, but not in the way the son of Peleus was hoping….
Achilles and the Greeks spent the rest of the day washing Patroclus' body and Achilles spent the whole night mourning the loss of his reason to live.
Now, it is now time for another Di-Vines!
(Credit to Red from OSP and the Viners)
" Why do we even need coming out day? Everyone's a little gay " - Apollo.
" Well, I'm a big gay, and I'm coming out today as the world's biggest gay " - Achilles while wearing a shirt that says; If lost return to Patroclus, Achilles then holds Patroclus in his embrace, while Patroclus is wearing a shirt that says;
I am Patroclus.
Episode 10:
A new day had now come and with it, came Thetis to her still mourning son, with her, she had the armor Vulcan had made from many stories.
The silver-footed nymph could see that her son was troubled, Achilles could not bear to see his lover's body decompose, Thetis comforted her son by saying;
" Worry not my dear boy, I shall use nectar and ambrosia to holdt the decay of Patroclus body "
His mother's words brought the demi-god some comfort, but it was overshadowed by his immense rage and thirst for revenge, and in that moment, Achilles must have known how Edmond Dantés felt when he figured out why he was in the Château d'If.
The son of Peleus and the son of Atreus finally made up, and Agamemnon gave Achilles all the gifts he had promised, including Briseis.
Achilles was ready for battle, but by the counsel of Odysseus, the Greeks enjoyed some bread and wine, except for the son of Peleus, who fasted in honor of his fallen soulmate, Zeus took pity on Achilles, he sent Athena to fill the belly of Achilles with nectar and ambrosia so the son of Peleus would not go hungry.
The Greeks, with Achilles and his Myrmidons, were now ready for battle.
Achilles mounted his chariot dressed in his new armor with the spear of his father that only he could wield, the two horses that were going to pull Achilles' chariot were known as Balius and Xanthus.
(Fun fact; Xanthus was given the ability to speak by Hera)
The Trojans were also ready, the two armies, filled with heroes and legends were about to clash, like titans.
" Let us this day, fight like brave men! " yelled Ajax the great while standing next to Achilles, but the son of Peleus scoffed at Ajax's words.
" Today, I fight not as a man nor as a demi-god, in this moment, I am as a beast and I thirst for blood " said Achilles with red eyes as he looked straight at Hector, the defender of Troy felt every fiber of his being shake with fear, he knew, that he was going to die…
Zeus told all the gods and goddess to gather in Mount Olympus, where he told them all;
" Go now, and pick your sides, and let fate do the rest "
All the gods and goddess now picked their sides, among the Greeks and Trojans, but there was one god missing, and some might say that he was the most crucial, Ares was still at the divine stables, waiting for the right moment.
On this day, were not only the Greeks and Trojans going to fight, but also the gods themselves.
Poseidon shook the earth so violently, that the underworld could feel it, the children of Hades and Persephone were outraged by this, but Hades told them all to stand down, and be ready to welcome the fallen, with open arms, and WINE! (Dammit Zagreus!)
But the battle between the gods and goddess was going to take place on the earth-barrow of Hercules, it seemed on this day, there were going to be two wars, and when I say that the gods were going to fight, I don't mean it literally, it must sounded more dramatic…. the gods and goddess were really just going to aid the ones they favored, but man! Would it be cool if they joined the battle!!
(Hmmm…..)
Aeneas stepped up, and fought with furious Achilles, no wonder that Adrian Carton de Wiart and Mad Jack Churchill are/were descended from the Trojans…. they are fucking BADASS!
Achilles was about to slay Aeneas, but Poseidon stepped in and saved him, for Aeneas and his family had another destiny waiting for them.
The son of Peleus then went on to kill, many, many Trojans, Achilles almost killed Hector! But, Apollo saved the son of Priam.
Rage had now consumed Achilles, who now went on a slaughter.
Thanatos comforted the soul of a crying Trojan, by hugging him and saying;
" It is alright, the pain is over "
Episode 11:
Achilles killed every Trojan in sight, for he would let Thanatos and Charon sort out the dead.
Honestly, there is nothing new to write, Achilles just went on killing so many Trojans that he filled up an entire river with dead bodies, the river then got pissed and tried to kill Achilles, but the son of Peleus just beat the water right out the river, who was in reality a god, and Achilles beat the shit out of that god….
Well, there was something new that happened, all the gods and goddess had a real fight, but it was quickly resolved, and Ares was still in the stables, just sitting and waiting.
With Apollo's magic, appeared a group of Amazons led by Queen Penthesilea, but sadly, even these warrior-women fell by the hands of Achilles, but, as a sign of respect, Achilles and Penthesilea kissed it seems that even homosexuals have their moments of heterosexuality, I mean, Achilles does have two sons.
The moment had finally come, Achilles finally laid eyes on Hector, at the open gates to Troy, all of Hector's men had walked within the city, but Hector himself still stood outside the gates looking at Achilles, Hector's father and mother told their son to enter the city, but Hector did like the Roadrunner and started to run around the whole of Troy, of course, Achilles had become the Coyote and started to chase after the killer of Patroclus, three times did the two legends run around the wall of Troy, Apollo tried to tell Hector to return inside the city, but Hector refused, Apollo then went to his father in an attempt to save Hector's fate, but Zeus refused, and with the aid of Athena, Achilles finally got his revenge by piercing the heart of Hector with his spear.
Before Achilles was about to parade Hector's dead body, Thanatos flew down to gentle pick up Hector's soul, from behind Thanatos were the Keres hot on his trail, Thanatos simply showed them all his grim reaper face and uttered these words;
" Back off "
which sent even more chills down the cold-blooded Keres, the greek valkyries retreated, and the few warriors who were lucky enough to get a glimpse of the Keres, felt scaroused.
The god of peaceful death resumed his noble job.
Hector now awoke as his soul, the son of Priam looked at the warm and welcoming face of Thanatos.
" I see, it is over, " said Hector.
Thanatos just had an expression of pity and compassion.
But before Hector could leave with the god of peaceful death, he had one last job to complete.
" I must warn Aeneas, " said the great Prince of Troy.
From within the divine stables of Mount Olympus, sat the god of war, Ares knew that Hector had fallen, and with Hector's death, the god of war smiled while his red eyes glowed.
Episode 12:
As Achilles was parading the dead body of Hector around with his chariot while putting sorrow and grief within the hearts of all the Trojans.
The Greeks, the Trojans and even the gods from atop Mount Olympus then heard the sound of thunder, but it was not Zeus' doing.
Black clouds gathered atop the battlefield and the sound of thunder was getting closer and closer, from the black clouds came forth the god of war on his chariot with his sword in hand, Ares was flying straight towards the son of Peleus while yelling;
" ACHILLES!!! " with a smile on his face.
Achilles and all the Greeks ducked out the way, but a good portion of them died by Ares landing on the battlefield.
All the gods and goddess were taken aback by Ares' actions, but Venus was smiling, while the rest felt like they did not have the right to stop The god of war.
Achilles looked straight at Mars.
" Ares " said the son of Peleus, but the god of war had not come to exchange words, but he came for war.
Ares kicked Achilles towards the nearby sea, after getting his thoughts together, Achilles was somehow standing on the surface of the sea, like a ninja, or a prophet.
Ares ran towards Achilles, as he was running, obsidian formed under his feet so that he could run on water.
After having exchanged a few blows, Ares pinned Achilles down, where he then said;
" Let us see what gives out first, your mind, or your heart "
Ares then started to electrocute Achilles with the lightning from his hands.
The son of Peleus screamed out in pain, and everyone could hear his cry of anguish, including his mother, who would have none of it.
Thetis jumped out of the sea, where she then kicked Ares straight in his face with her silver-foot, sending Mars flying towards one of the nearby islands.
" Mother, " said Achilles.
" Get out of here, my son, only a deity, may fight another deity " said Thetis dressed in her magnificent armor.
" I won't leave you, mother, " said Achilles.
" Achilles " said Thetis with her worried son looking at her " Don't worry, mommys got this " said Thetis while flexing her arm with a smile on her face, Achilles now knew that he could leave it all to his mother, but that was when Enyo, a goddess of war and the sister of Ares, landed on the water.
" I will be your opponent, demi-god " said Enyo while looking at Thetis.
Ares also appeared once again.
" I did not know that you knew any martial arts, " said Ares while looking at Thetis.
" I am one of 50 daughters, so of course did our father teach us how to defend ourselves " said the daughter of Nereus with a smile.
" 50 daughters? Man, Shenwindo must be hella envious, " said Ares while still looking at Thetis, but now, in another way.
" See something you like? " said Thetis.
" Indeed " said Mars with a grin.
" Forget it! " said Achilles.
" Is that the way you talk to your new daddy? " said Ares with a smile.
Achilles looked at his mother, but Thetis just had a look of; will never happen.
" Never say never, nymph " said Ares.
" Never, god " said Thetis.
Ares and Thetis now clashed with one another.
" Show a girl a good time " said Enyo with a smile.
" I am gay " said Achilles proudly.
" Not what I meant, but I still support you, " said Enyo.
The demi-god and the goddess now clashed.
" What do we do? " asked a Greek soldier.
" For now, let us rest " said Ajax the great.
" How can we rest?! " said another Greek soldier filled with adrenaline.
All the Greeks then looked and saw Ajax the lesser, who was sleeping peacefully.
Ajax the great walked over and then kicked all the air out of Ajax the lesser's lungs.
" UH! " - Ajax the lesser.
During the battle, Ares made weapons out of obsidian, weapons like; his Obsidian-Caliburn, his Obsidian-Blades of Chaos, his Obsidian-Leviathan, and many more weapons.
Ares even utilized powers and abilities unique to himself, like his full-control of magma, lava and obsidian, Ares even had control over lighting, the god of war had many other powers and abilities, but for now, let us focus on these.
Ares also called forth his Greek Valkyries and even his Dragon to come and aid him.
Thetis utilized her ability to use the element of water in all its aspects, she even asked her 50 sisters to assist her.
Ares and Thetis used their respected elements in a way that some might call it, bending….. :D
Apollo, Artemis and Artemis' dear friend; Iron Orion, the half-constellation and half-automaton giant created by Hephaestus also joined in on the fun, the battle that followed was epic at a grand scale, it ended with Ares calling forth the heart of Gaia, the core of planet earth, where he said;
" I decide who wins in a war! "
" Holy shit, is that the core?! "
" Easy there Escanor! " said a Greek and a Trojan.
But the sea nymph Thetis had one last trick up her sleeve.
Thetis called forth the water planet itself, Neptune was now above earth.
" But Neptune is my planet?! " said Poseidon.
" Actually, Neptune is just another name for Nereus, so the planet is actually his, " said Hera.
Poseidon was hella confused.
" You throw it, I drop it, " said Thetis.
Ares smiled.
" Right… forgot who I was talking to…. " said the sea nymph.
" Now " said Ares as he was about to throw the core;
" Behold my victory!!! " yelled the god of war, but that was when, everyone heard " Tick tock, Tick tock "
Ares and Thetis looked towards the sound and that was when they saw one of Hera's most loyal servants, and the deity known as time himself, Aion.
Juno had sent Aion to set things right or back.
Ares looked at Aion in horror.
" It looks like " - Aion.
" Nooooooooo! " yelled Ares as he flew towards Aion with a speed greater than that of Hermes.
" Your time is up " said Aion as Ares' molten fist was centimeters away from Aion's face.
Aion now reset time to the point where Ares had just landed on the battlefield with his chariot, Ares had a look of disbelief and sorrow.
" Ares!- the god of war looked up towards Mount Olympus- stand down my son " said Zeus standing at the edge of his eternal kingdom.
Ares now had a look of anger and rebellion, Ares called his famous helmet to him, where he calmly put it on his head and he then said;
" Make me " with glowing red eyes.
Zeus was now the one who was furious, Jove raised his hand towards the sky, and a lighting bolt now appeared in his hand, almighty Jupiter then threw the lighting bolt straight at the god of war, as the lighting bolt was about to hit Ares, Mars smiled and then said;
" A warrior's death "
The lighting bolt then hit Ares but Zeus quickly covered Mars in his aegis, as not to hurt any of the nearby Greeks.
After the blinding flash of the lighting bolt had disappeared, everyone now saw Ares, on his knees, with skin as grey as death, while he was still wearing his famous helmet.
Zeus sighed, while Hera and Aphrodite looked away.
" Apollo, go heal your brother " said Zeus.
" Yes father, " said Apollo.
Apollo landed his chariot on the battlefield, where he picked up his brother, and the two of them then returned to their home atop the mountain, where Ares was brought back to life.
The Trojan war continued as it was written, and the Trojans were defeated, or you could say, tricked by a wooden horse, but like I said in the beginning, their bloodline would not end.
The rape-escape
Within Troy was a temple dedicated to the goddess Athena.
Cassandra, the daughter of the last King of Troy, ran to the temple, for no conflict of any kind may take place in a temple, but, wickness knows no limit.
Cassandra was praying to the statue of Athena while the Greeks were plundering the city.
A figure now started to overshadow Cassandra, she turned to look, that was when she smiled and said;
" Ajax! "
But after getting a closer look, Cassandra then said disappointedly;
" Ajax the lesser… "
" Shut it! " said the lesser, who now walked closer to Cassandra " While the others steal silver, gold and silk, I shall take pleasure " said the lesser who was very close to the woman who could see the future but no one would believe her.
" But…this is sacred ground, you can't, " said Cassandra in horror.
Ajax the lesser smiled while he was forcing himself on the poor woman.
" Ajax.... what are you doing? " said a group of Greek soldiers.
Ajax the lesser looked back at the soldiers and then said;
" Nothing... "
The soldiers then noticed Cassandra.
" Ajax. Are you breaking the biggest taboo? " said one of the soldiers.
" No..." said Ajax the lesser with a liar's smile.
The soldiers were about to put an end to Ajax but Ajax then said
" Look! It is Aphrodite! "
" We are gay " said the soldiers.
Ajax was confused for a moment.
" Look! It is Apollo! "
" Where? " said all the soldiers, but when the soldiers looked back, Ajax the lesser was gone.
Ajax the lesser ran into Athena.
" I am not having a Medusa 3.0 " said Athena rather angerly.
" Fair enough..... Look! It is Odysseus! " said Ajax
Athena looked away and when she looked back, Ajax the lesser was gone.
Ajax the lesser was now on a boat.
" Behold, I escaped the Greeks and a goddess and I did not even need the help of Posiedon " said Ajax the lesser boldly.
From within Atlantis itself, Posiedon said
" I am going to kill him "
The Kraken now appeared before Ajax the lesser.
" Look! It is Perseus! "
The Kraken looked away and when it looked back, Ajax the lesser was gone.
Ajax the lesser was now on an Island.
" Behold! I escaped the Greek soldiers, Athena, Posiedon and the Kraken! I am unstoppable!... what now? " said Ajax the lesser as he looked around the Island.
The golden apple, that started it all;
I shall now do like Neil Gaiman- and Terry Pratchett's Good Omens, and tell the start of the story, at the end.
It was a fair day in Mount Olympus, all the gods and goddess had gathered, there was none of the seven sins within any of them, all the deities were just having a good time, but there was one deity who could not allow all this peace, she was known as Strife.
Discordia had placed an golden apple at the gates of Olympus, on the apple was written;
" To the fairest "
It was that golden apple that started a war, the Trojan war.
It is more than a bromance
The Elysium fields go by many titles, such as, the blessed isles, the Fortunate isles and the resting place for the righteous.
The scenery within the Elysium fields looks like one of Frederic Leighton's paintings, the Flaming June.
Everything looks calm, like the wind on a summer day.
Everything feels warm, but not a warmth that is too hot but more like a warmth that is just right.
The Elysium fields is a place you just feel comfortable at, nothing scares you and you have nothing to fear.
Our story picks up with two individuals who have finally been reunited with each other, Achilles and Patroclus.
Achilles and Patroclus are talking about the good old times and some of the memories they made together.
" Hey Patroclus, do you remember that time we disguised ourselves as maids? Fun times " said Achilles but Patroclus was not amused.
" Hey, what is wrong? " said Achilles.
" Yeah… I remember that time. I also remember you impregnating Deidamia with your sons! " said Patroclus.
Achilles just looked at Patroclus.
" Wait… you are somehow jealous??? " said Achilles with a smug smile.
" I AM NOT JEALOUS!!! " yelled Patroclus.
Achilles just put his right arm around Patroclus, Achilles held Patroclus close to his body, Achilles then said
" You know…. you and I, are kind of like parents, because Neoptolemos and Oneiros are your sons as much as they are my sons " said Achilles.
Patroclus' eyes widen.
" What are you talking about, Neoptolemos and Oneiros are not of my seed, they are of yours " said Patroclus.
" That is true but I must ask, so what? " said Achilles a little smugly.
Patroclus looked at Achilles.
Achilles just had a warm smile on his face and Patroclus just felt a warmth within his chest.
" Let me get this straight, are you saying that Neoptolemos and Oneiros are our love children? " said Patroclus.
" Sure, why not? " said Achilles.
" What about Deidamia? "
" She is still their mother, but they do have two fathers " said Achilles with a smile.
Patroclus did his best to hide his tears.
Achilles just held his very dear lover close.
" Oh, am I interrupting? " said a voice.
Achilles and Patroclus looked behind and saw the son of Hades and Persephone, Plutus.
" Ah, Plutus! It is good to see you " said Achilles.
" Likewise " said Plutus.
Patroclus walked up to Plutus.
" Plutus, I just want to say thank you for reuniting me and Achilles, " said Patroclus.
" There is no need to thank me, it was my mother and father that reunited you two, they talked about shipping you two, but I did not understand what they meant…. " said Plutus.
" Then please give lord Hades and lady Persephone my eternal gratitude " said Patroclus.
" And mine as well, " said Achilles.
Plutus nodded.
" Anyway. I just came here to deliver a message from my parents, they said, that if you two want to leave the Elysium fields and go to the outside world from time to time, then something like that can be arranged " said Plutus.
" We shall certainly keep that in mind " said Patroclus.
Plutus nodded.
Plutus then left the Elysium fields.
" Well, what shall we do now? " said Patroclus.
" How about we go on a honeymoon? " said Achilles.
" But we are not even married? " said Patroclus.
Achilles smiled and then said
" Then how about we fixed that, right here and now "
Achilles then got on one knee, and I will now let you guys figure out the rest.
