Synopsis
In the world of Stagla exists humans, monsters, magic, humans that can use magic and monsters that can use magic. It was well documented in this world that those with magic were assigned a certain element which consisted of seven foundations, those being water, fire, wind, earth, lightning, darkness and light. However, your chosen element would usually (but not always) be dictated by your personality, for example someone who was hot-tempered would be most certainly have the fire element or someone who would seek justice would have been gifted with the light element. The story revolves are a young man who was a victim at a young age and had been deemed to be a failure by not just his entire village, but also his own family due to not having a gift for any of the elements. Such early judgement would result in him facing much more hardship than the normal child. The boy who would become the legendary knight Razialkeal Ruflo.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Failiure

During a summer's morning in the grassy land of Ark village, the boy known as Loftus Rolo would work on his family's farm while they would be inside indulging themselves with the food and deserts bought from the meagre earnings that Loftus made selling the crops that he would grow, "Not like I could complain to anyone" he said to himself as he sighed. This was because he was labelled as a failure after he went to have his aptitude for magic tested by the village elder. It was revealed in front of everyone that he had no talent for magic at all, though not the first to exist there were still very few in the same predicament. This was a major problem especially if you dreamed of a lucrative lifestyle, a mere talentless human was considered in this reality to be as useful as a pouch with a hole in it.

His family who were also present looked at him with disdainful eyes, even his mother who raised him, showed an air of disappointment and disgust. "How could this be?!" his father yelled out loud, "how have I given birth to such a failure?!" screamed his mother, "Our brother is useless" his brothers and sisters said in sync while laughing. Ever since that day he lost his title a son and as elder brother by being disinherited and instead becoming the family's slave. He would be beat, scolded and humiliated without end until he accepted his current position.

The original expectation from his family was for him to become a user of the elements and try to make a name for himself by enlisting himself in the army and earn himself riches, this wasn't a delusion either considering he was a genius at using weaponry. At the age of twelve, he was able to best his master after only nine months under his tutelage. He had always dreamt of having the lighting element as he though would have looked "cool" with swordplay, however instead his world had come crashing down.

It was much the painful memory for young Loftus, "damn it, I wish things would change…" he muttered to himself as he sighed and continued his work, "would it best if I ran away from this village? but... there is simply no way for me to survive alone. I've not got a single gold coin to my name and I can't even defend myself from magic beasts that roam the forest no matter my level as a swordsman it's impossible to beat magic with just physical strength " he thought to himself, while looking at the sky.

A deep voiced man could be heard yelling "You bastard who told you that you could stop working" as he grabbed his whip and swung it towards Loftus, but with his quick reflexes that he gained through training he was able to dodge with ease and grabbed the whip, yanking it away which resulted in the man to fall on the floor backwards. He looked up at him and realised who he was "ah forgive me Mr.Logari", the fallen man was a high ranking slave Logan in the family. This man was my supervisor, he would take it upon himself to handle the disciplinary methods any time I crossed the line. When he first heard of the news that I would be demoted to a rank lower than him a terrifying smiling crept onto his face. I immediately understood the meaning of the smile, "shit…" I repeated it a bunch in my head.

Later that day he returned to the Rolo manner, "Sir Rolo and Lady Rolo I have completed todays farming duties" he reported to his estranged parents, "Took you long enough, useless brat. Whatever go tidy the rooms and then clean the latrine pit outside.", his father Acros Rolo commanded, "shoo now, we're trying to enjoy a nice warm meal with our children." said his mother in a haughty tone. He did as he was told without muttering a single word of complaint he left the room to complete his tasks, though without showing he was incredibly angered especially after what he heard his mother Elia Rolo had said to him, "How f****** dare she say that…" he tearfully whispered to himself.

He completed the tasks given to him a little before midnight and had a mouldy piece of bread that would be fit to feed mice thrown at him by his younger sister Cecilia Rolo, "You look like a filthy rat" she said mockingly. He picked up the piece of bread and just ate it, heck he would have eaten anything at this point, he hadn't eaten for the entire day but that was the usual story of his life for the past 2 years now.
