Chapter 6 - Chapter -6

"The orphanage made a temporary identity card for me naming Angela Merkel. I was working in a coffee shop but the manager kept harassing me.

Last evening he tried to force himself on me. So I kicked him at.. And ran away. When I reached my rented room, my roommate was arguing with someone over the phone.

Since it happened often I ignored it and went in. But strangely she was very sweet to me. When I told her that I lost my job, she invited me to a drink. I denied, but she insisted.

So at last, I relented and came to this club with her. She gave me a drink after which I felt heavy and then lost senses. But within a few minutes, I came back to my senses and I saw a few men were dragging me and they were talking about some loan.

But I have not taken any money, I guess my roommate had taken it, and she exchanged me for it. Then you came and brought me here. That's all I know.

I swear I'm not lying. If you want you can go and check. But please don't kill me. I have done nothing wrong. I am just, Just trapped in all this. Sometimes I wish I had died in that accident." And with that, her tears started flowing.

She put her head over her knees to hide her tears. She didn't want to look, crybaby. But life was too cruel to her and she was getting tired.

"Hey. Hey, now don't cry. I am just asking okay, angels don't cry you know." 'Oh, she didn't even know that she was an angel. But could this be possible? What kind of accident could hurt an angel?

It's not like she could get hurt with a normal accident. Did any demon hurt her? Or was she a fallen angel? That tyrant often hurt his children just for small mistakes.

The devil only knows why people pray to him' he thought, shaking his head and patting the girl back to soothe her but she was still crying like a baby.

He took a deep sigh and bent over his knees. Then folded his arms around her, and gently put her neck on his shoulder. And then she cried and cried.

When she came to her senses she felt his warmth. His body was soothing her, his touch felt so good. After a long while, in fact, for the first time, she was feeling safe and secure.

Like finally she had found a place to call home. So instead of distancing, she leaned on him. His rhythmic heartbeat gave her the peace she desired.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath to feel him. His smell was like wet clay after rain. Refreshing to the soul.

That hug was the first genuine hug she had by someone without taking her advantage or demanding something. So, being his shirtless didn't affect her anymore.

She knew he was just consoling her. How strange just a moment ago he was trying to kill her and now, now he was trying his best to make her feel better. Although she knew he sucks at it. Maybe it was the first time he was doing it for someone. Did that mean she was special for him? Don't know why but this thought brought immense pleasure for her heart.

"Hey, come on now, you are an adult. How can you cry like that?" Although he was still taunting but his tone was much gentle now and his patting still didn't stop. She giggled at this thought.

"So you also know how to laugh huh? I thought you can only cry." He said pinching her nose.

"Awww, don't do that. It hurts." She said slapping his hands away from her nose and then rubbing it.

"Okay, okay, now what. Where do you want me to drop you?" He asked standing on his feet again and taking a drink from the sofa.

"Well, uh, you can drop me to my apartment." She also said standing and rubbing her knees and straightening her dress.

He turned towards her and tilted his head. When he saw she was serious about what she said, he raised an eyebrow and asked "you want to go back to the girl who sold you.

So that she can call these thugs to take you back. Seriously,? Then why bother. You can stay here and wait for them to come." He said shaking his head and taking a sip again.

"Hey, I am not that fool okay, I will call the police." She replied, folding her arms on her chest and looking defiantly at him. 'Why did he always look down on her.'

"Seriously, kids are more intelligent than you these days. What proof do you have of kidnapping huh?

After all, you came here with your heart and your free will. If more you will only prove yourself as a prostitute to them. Go on and try" he said shrugging his shoulders like all this had nothing to do with him.

Well, he didn't have to care. It's just he provided a little warmth and she was greedy enough to think that he cared for her.

"But I've no other place to go" she replied in a whisper ashamed of herself.

"I can drop you to a good hotel." He replied.

"But I have no money to pay," she said, sadder than before.

"Oh, then I can give you some." He again replied nonchalantly.

"I don't need your favor. Just leave me by the roadside. I will think of a way to survive."

"Okay, as you wish" he replied and said "let's go" but deep inside he didn't want this angel to let go.

He wanted to taint her. Oh, how good it would be to violate the beautiful possession of the Creator of humans. But how? she had to come willing to him.

He was sure, his magic won't work on her. Memory or not, demons can't bewitch angels to do their bidding..
