"The change was necessary, I am glad I was away," she said and smiled. Her heart was at ease. No longer obsessed with her old love. It felt good to know that for her. But she was embarrassed to face him. After all the evil things she had done to him. From being the reason of his death, to trying to seduce him when he lost his memories till the last moment in war they defeated Tai the fake Phoenix.
Daniel kept watching her, expecting a breakdown. But to his surprise, nothing happened. She looked super cool and she did not show any signs of heartbreak. But she was hiding it too well the awkwardness she had being there. But she put up with it. Because she had a favour to ask. She took a deep breath and stood pleasantly with a smile pasted on her face.
