Jun explained as he pointed at the CCTVs, "they asked us to prepare a timetable and post it at the entrance of the first floor. That means using the training spaces when it isn't your turn is the same as breaking the rules. That's why let it be a no man's land during those timings."
Realization dawned upon everyone. All the other four couldn't help but think Jun is indeed smart enough to figure that out.
Jun continued, "So, now, there are four sessions. First, morning 5 to 7. Then, morning 8 to afternoon 1. Then, afternoon 2 to evening 8. And finally, evening 9 to 11. A total of 15 hours. So, a total of 5 hours per each."
"Hyung, you are forgetting that Shonwu-Hyung and Hansol-Hyung are performing a duo. So, they are one part." Daniel reminded Jun.
Vernon didn't stay quiet either. He said, "And Hyung (Jun) is also performing mixed duo. So, you might not need training space."
"There's a challenge round, you know. Jun-Hyung needed to make practice for that too." Daniel argued back.
"Then, how about one of us sleeps during the day, and then, practice at night?" Jongho came with another solution.
"Eh?" "Huh!"
Everyone immediately looked at him in surprise.
Jongho explained, "This way, we won't need to waste six hours."
"Anyone wants to volunteer?" Jun asked the other four. Obviously, he was ruled out of the night practice.
"How about Shonwu-Hyung and Hansol-Hyung?" Daniel asked them. "One person practicing night all alone would be a bit… you know…"
Considering how he saw they were a bit against Jun for some reason, Daniel decided to be against them too.
And just as he expected, their faces crumpled as soon as they heard the suggestion. Weren't they having enough troubles already? Now, Jun wanted to crush them even further?
A human's mind is really fascinating. Even a person who seemed nice and cool might have nefarious thoughts at any time.
Such is the situation where these are suffering from. When the rift developed between Jun and Shonwu, just every action of Jun that's not in favor of them made him think a bit badly of Jun. Now, it was so high that even Daniel's suggestion was blamed on Jun. Well, not directly. It was all happening in their minds.
But, outside, they were at least calm.
Jong-ho seemed like he liked the idea. He supported by saying, "If the two of you can take from 11 to 5 and then from 5 to 7, a total of eight hours, then, I will take the morning session, let Euigeon take the afternoon session and Jun-Hyung can practice for two hours from evening 9 to 11. This way, everyone can get what they want."
"But, night…" Just as Vernon was about to oppose, Shonwu interrupted in the middle, giving him a surprise, "I agree."
"Eh?" Vernon was taken aback but in the end, he eventually accepted as everyone is against his wishes. What he can he do? He isn't in America but South Korea and cannot argue with an elder person unless he was very close with that person.
Meanwhile, Jun realized that everyone had forgotten about the simple logic in the task, which is that the management forbids them to use training rooms at the same time. However, Daniel can practice his dancing and Jongho can practice singing at the same time. One just needed to be in the dance training room and the other in the vocal training room.
But, seeing that everyone is already come to the arrangement and changing it will not affect his position even a little bit, Jun decided to be selfish and wrote down the timetable as it was planned.
By the time they posted the timetable at the entrance of the first floor, it was around 5:50. He went upstairs to bathe but both of the bathrooms were already occupied by Shonwu and Jongho respectively.
He shrugged his shoulders and came downstairs. There were also showers at the Gym.
But, seeing that he still had more than an hour left, Jun put aside the towel and clothes, and he went ahead to work out.
He stepped onto the treadmill and started to walk before increasing the speed gradually from 2 to 4, then 6, 8, 10, and eventually 12 km/hr.
With 8 point strength, he knew that he can run steadily even at 16 km/hr but for now, he was taking it easy.
He ran for thirty minutes straight, completing about 50% or one should say he covered about 5 kilometers before he stopped and went to the showers.
Wearing a simple t-shirt and track pants, he came downstairs to the kitchen.
Daniel sat in the living room, watching television. Surprisingly, channels are now available to watch. And it was proved that this television isn't just for announcements.
However, the number of channels was quite restricted. Only public broadcasting channels are available, KBS1, KBS2, EBS1, EBS2, and MBC TV. No foreign channels, no commercial broadcasting channels, and no cable tv networks.
But, then again, something is better than nothing, right?
While Daniel is busy, watching Music Bank, Jun was thinking of a recipe as he opened the door of the refrigerator.
"Okay, now, let's see. Let's take the tenderloin. Hmm, 1kg might not be enough for five people. Let's go with two kg."
After taking out two packages and putting them on the counter, he proceeded to take out a box with kimchi, then, a few green onions, ginger.
After that, he searched the cabinets and took out garlic, soy sauce, sesame seeds packet, and sesame oil.
After separating the garlic cloves and peeling the skin, he crushed them with the kitchen knife and cut them into a tiny bits of pieces. Then, it was the turn of green onions, after that, it was ginger which was nicely minced.
They were transferred from the wooden chopping board to the bowl before soy sauce, sugar, water, One and a half tablespoon of sesame oil, pepper powder, a bunch of sesame seeds were added to the mixture.
As he started to cut the beef tenderloin into thin slices very carefully, Daniel finally spotted the meat.
"Hyung, do you need help?" He asked.
"You can cook the rice. The rice bag is behind me, and the rice cooker is also there." Jun replied as he continued to cut.
Half an hour later, dishes were placed on the dining table. There's bulgogi BBQ, accompanied with rice, kimchi, and perilla leaves.
Everyone who took a bite couldn't help but nod their heads in satisfaction and complimented him endlessly. Even Vernon and Shonwu acknowledged in their hearts that Jun was damn skilled in cooking.
"Is it really that good?" Jun knew that he was good at making bulgogi since he made it so many times in his previous life but he felt like their expressions were a bit too exaggerating. How this dish could be restaurant quality.
He thought they were just saying it and don't mean it.
Jun then took a perilla leaf, added a piece, then kimchi, put some rice, and ate the wrap.
"This…" His eyes widened in disbelief, "it is so fucking delicious."
He was completely surprised by the taste of his own cooking. But, realizing that there are people, he controlled his expression and calmly ate it.
As soon as their palates were satisfied, this dislike towards Jun has been removed from Vernon. He thought that Jun can indeed make a good leader.
While Shonwu can't do anything about the stress Jun is giving him by showing how much of a multi-talented he is, at the very least, enjoyed it very much and also praised that it is as much as good as the restaurant. The only thing that's missing for him is a glass of beer but can't do anything about it considering the situation.
Once the dishes were finished, as the maknaes, Daniel and Jongho washed the dishes.
Meanwhile, Jun received a sudden notification from the system.
*Ding! You successfully completed a hidden quest. Cooking talent has been added to the character.
*Ding! You received a new daily quest.
"Oh, that's new." Jun maintained his coolness until he was alone.
"Aria, open the stats."
"7.5 points? No wonder, it tastes so good. This Jun was born with a talent for cooking."
