"A couple of hours ago, he was moved to the hospital."
"Eh?" Jun was surprised to hear the news, "there's a medical ward on the third floor. Is his condition that serious?" He wondered.
"Which hospital?" Jun asked them.
Both of them shook their heads in response.
"Okay, thank you."
Jun returned to the training facility and asked the receptionist about the details.
"Oh! The boy with viral fever… Wait a second…"
She made a call to someone and then informed Jun, "He's taken to Asan medical center."
"Asan medical center?" Jun was taken aback. "Didn't he just get a fever and throat infection? Why was he taken to such a big hospital? There are hospitals nearby."
"Ah! They are our partners. I mean, one of the investors of Genesis is the CEO there. It's free for us. So, all of our medical treatments will be done there…"
'A hospital CEO investing in an entertainment agency? Really weird. The weirdest part is that he was taken to a hospital that's located so far away when all he needs is sufficient rest. I wonder if it's something serious…'
He didn't believe it was just fever. He thought the receptionist might not know the reason.
It's also absurd to even think they shifted him to the hospital that's located more than 25 km away.
Jun decided to visit.
Thanking her, he excused himself with a bow and left the building.
Jun made a call to both of them who are in his group.
He doesn't know whether they wanted to come or not, as they never called him to say the news but for now, they came downstairs.
After all, he's five years older than both of them. They don't have any other choice but to do when they were asked politely.
Looking at their expressions, Jun figured out that they already knew and also guessed the reason for their reluctance. After all, It would take at least an hour by cab to reach there.
At such peak hours, with roads full of traffic, even they knew that it will take a long time to return.
Not to trouble the much, Jun immediately said them to focus on practice while he goes and visit him alone.
Fearing that he will take them along if they were to act modestly both of them bowed as a gesture of apologizing and stayed silent.
Roughly 90 minutes later, Jun reached the hospital.
Stopping before the reception, he said, "The patient's name is Kim Yeongue. Age is 12. I only know that he was admitted here, today, probably a few hours ago. Can you please check it and tell me where he was admitted?"
After checking for a while, she replied, "5th floor, private ward, room number B-203. It will be on the right side." "Thank you."
As he left the place, another receptionist who was standing beside her commented, "Is he an idol? Looking very handsome…"
"Boyun-ah, didn't I warn you to stop saying such things in a hospital?" The senior receptionist scolded her.
Boyun apologized to her.
Meanwhile, Jun reached the elevator. There were two doors. One is normal and the other has a sign that says only for authorized persons.
Along with the other visitors, Jun waited for the elevator to come down.
*Ding*
The other elevator's door opened. And a group of interns stepped out together, probably to eat lunch or for whatever reason.
A few seconds later, the elevator before him opened and he gets in along with everyone else.
Just as he entered the elevator and faced towards the front, he saw someone familiar.
'Somi?' Jun was taken aback. He didn't know that she was a doctor here.
At the same time, Somi who was with her colleagues coincidentally turns her head and saw Jun who was standing in the front.
"Jun?" She mumbled as she looked at him. Both of their eyes met for a second before he looked away while the door started to close.
She didn't know that he spotted her and chose to ignore her. At the moment, all she wished to meet him. Due to being busy with her work, lately, she wasn't able to find enough time to meet him or text with him.
As Jun's training is different. He would reply to her several hours later and that too, something that will stop the conversation.
She says hi at morning 8 a.m. He replies Hi… at 2 or 3 p.m.
She then asks what he is doing at something like 4-5 p.m. And he replies that he's eating dinner at 8 p.m.
Then she asks about how's his day at around 11 p.m. And she gets a reply at 5 a.m. that it is good.
She thought she wasn't able to connect with him because she wasn't getting any opportunities to talk directly, face to face.
Looking at him now, she mumbled, "I wonder, is he here for a medical checkup or visiting someone…" She thought, either way, it is a great opportunity to talk.
"Somi-ssi…" A voice called her from beside. It was a fellow intern.
"Just a second." She took out her mobile phone and opened the Kakao talk before sending him the message.
"I'll be right back…" Leaving behind the group, she rushed off to somewhere.
Meanwhile, Jun's mobile phone vibrated. He looked at the notification.
He closed it and put it back in his pocket.
Just a few days ago, he was lectured by YG just for walking with Yuju. Hopefully, within a year, he'll probably debut as long as he works hard.
Somi trying this hard can only mean she wants to repair the relationship. He was certain about it. What if he really falls in love with her?
The last time he talked with her, Jun found his heart raced. If not him imagining his goddess, he would have fallen in trouble.
At all costs, he can't date her. It's risky for his future.
Keeping that in mind, Jun thought of only opening the message after he returns to the dorm.
*Ding*
Three minutes later, the elevator stops on the fifth floor. As the door opened, he walked out to find the only person who he didn't want to meet.
"Sunbae!" He acted like he was surprised to see her.
Somi smiled as she mumbled, "My hunch was right."
"Hey, Jun…"
