At the central space of the Eternal Realm, vast space clouds and rainbow explosion flew around the star-lit realm. Defeaning bombardments raced everywhere, hitting every possible target in the area.
It was the never-ending war, the Eternal War,
The reason? A title.
The title of becoming the One Almighty.
A title that could make any Spirit achieve the beginning and the end.
A low-rank Spirit could immediately rose to the highest possible rank and command great power after absorbing the title. However, they have to search for it in the capital space in order to acquire it.
No one knows if it had a physical body. Most Spirit Lords figured that the title must be made of astral form since no one has found it over the countless space years.
Although it could not be detected by senses, every ambitious Spirit Lords still continued to wage war with each other hoping to chance upon the title after searching the realm.
Every low-ranking spirit knew that they have to continue fighting for their Lord, but no one knew why they were fighting. Ever since they were in existence, they were immediately sent out to the battlefield. They never questioned anything and only followed orders like they were programmed to serve faithfully.
Eternium, the capital space of the Eternal Realm. It was a small material plane with patches of green grass with a single large tree at the center. The place was never affected by the war despite the powerful clashes in the surrounding. It was a common agreement by Spirit Lords to not attack anyone inside Eternium.
There were many kinds of spirits and their strengths differ a lot depending on how pure the spiritual energy flowing inside their body.
Spirits only had astral bodies. They glow and illuminate their body proportions and can transform into any image they want. However, not many spirits like to waste spiritual energy on appearances and most of them retain their initial astral forms.
After countless space years of war, the commonly accepted form was a body that can reach further and resist or delay attacks. Spiritual arms were created for the sole purpose of attacking.
Spiritual arms were created long and thin to attack from any angle. Every spirit who wants to get a higher absorption output used as many tentacle arms as they could control.
Spirits with a higher amount of spiritual arms were commonly viewed as stronger and of higher rank. Simply, if a spirit wants to utilize more arms, they needed more spiritual power, better control of their form, and higher intelligence.
Despite that, a certain Spirit Lord believes that having too many arms does not mean a better outcome. It was a Spirit Lord with a nickname God.
She was a very strange Spirit Lord among the group. No one knows her name, and yet she knew everyone. Her powers were unique and extraordinarily strong but she never used them against others.
Even her army of high-ranking spirits refused to extinguish their enemies and only incapacitated them to a lower rank, unless they were forced to vanquish the enemy, they would still their hands.
The spirits in the army also only had two arms while having a weird arm that was used to waddle on space. Above their center point, a small round form had a lot of holes with various aesthetics.
Overall, most of the spirits in the army were of high-rank and medium-rank. Only several hundred thousand low ranking spirits could be seen in the army of millions.
Eternium has undergone several changes in authority. And yet, no one has ever discovered its secrets.
But for the first time, numerous Spirit Lords felt troubled to watch a single being strode towards the small piece of floating island.
The brilliant figure shrouded with a holy aura literally walked in space. It was as if she was much accustomed to walking than gliding from place to place.
As if everyone reached an agreement, all Spirit Army stopped fighting and watched the scene with various feelings.
Confusion. Excitement. Disappointment.
Why is no one charging to stop them? Even if they can't fight inside Eternium, they could still challenge them to come outside, and if they refuse annihilate their army, so they can forcefully drag them out.
Will the war finally end? Can they finally achieve the Eternal Rest that they longed for?
Satan spoke while glancing at the millions of Spirits focusing on them.
"My lady... I mean, Lord God. How do you want to deal with these scrubs? They've been ogling at you for a long time already. They should be punished! I suggest demoting them to spiritual sense, or putting them to deep slumber."
God, "Why do you suggest that? Don't you feel any concern towards them?"
Satan, "As the Army General, I have the duty to command the army and protect you at all cost. The Seraphim elders would surely agree with my battle plan. Just because these so-called Lords were young, they were never afraid of danger."
God smiled at him, then continued walking. "You're always hot-headed. Calm down, and think about it. Those spirits know nothing of what they are doing. They still probably had empty minds with no self-being."
Satan sighed and stopped trying to convince Lord God. He knew it would be pointless and he would never win an argument.
The God's Army stationed at the surrounding area of Eternium tightened their guards upon noticing several suspicious movements from all directions.
Although no Spirit Lord was moving to attack, that doesn't mean that they will never attack. They were probably waiting for something eventful to happen.
Although the war has been going on for eternity, numerous Spirit Lords who dare take Eternium for themselves were seen dissipating into the void.
Once they got too close to the gigantic tree in the middle of the floating island, they would start to become frenzied and vanish into streaks of spiritual smoke.
God smiled and greeted, after reaching the base of the tree.
"You've already grown so big! The last time I saw you, you barely had any sprout. How are you doing? Do you like this place?"
