Chapter 283 - Weredeer Tribe - Weredeer Spirits - Weredeer Prime

Philip and the weredeer spirit ran through the taiga forest for a while. The deeper they go, the more lush the forest becomes

Eventually, they reached a place that's almost overgrown by vines and shrubbery, as well as mossy stones and boulders. The atmosphere became darker and white particles appeared in the air like wisps and light orbs

After a while, as Philip is following the weredeer spirit, the spirit disappeared out of thin air. Philip stopped on his tracks and looked at the empty air

No matter how hard he looked, he couldn't see anything, but a normal lush forest. He closed his eyes and reopened them as his eyes turn into yellow and faint blue

'I see... It's one of those things'

Philip smiled and he became excited of what's in front of him. He used [Clairvoyance], [X-ray Vision], [Eye Vision], [Definite], and might as well [Eye of Sai] to not miss anything

He found that there was a wall from where the weredeer spirit, specifically an invisible wall, or more like a gateway. It's the same as a passage through to a powerful city that's the source of Vibranium from famous movies and comics

「 What are you going to do next? 」

'Hm... Common sense would to go through and enter whatever the place would be... But the fact that you asked what I would do next tells me that I have to do something first before entering...'

「 ... 」

'I'm right, aren't I? Well, I'm going to take my time and look around first...'

Philip stood still and look around. He even equipped the [Shades of Logicity] to absolutely not miss anything

"..."

He took about a few seconds and he only inferred that the invisible gate is either made of Spirit Energy or a Weredeer Arts that could create a pocket world within this place, just like a gate to the Spirit World or the Terra Spirit World

He's also not sure if this gate would lead him to Earth's original Spirit World or the Terra Spirit World, but considering this time period is around 20 years ago, it might lead to the Terra Spirit World

He also considered that the gate won't even allow him to enter because of some conditions, like a human not being allowed to enter, some kind of passcode requirement to enter, or an object that allows someone to enter

"..."

Nonetheless, Philip didn't see anything too special and he only saw that Emily baited him. Though, he did saw that the fact that if he entered this invisible gate, he will be entering either a different world, realm, or dimension

"....."

Philip squinted his eyes and stopped his steps

'Worlds... Realms... Dimensions... What are the differences?'

「 ... 」

『 ... 』

'I've understood the difference between universes and timelines in a multiversal scale... I think? But worlds, realms, dimensions, realities, iterations, planes... What are the differences???'

「 Haha... 」

『 Special condition requirements has been met! 』

'Hm? Ah, I see... Haha...'

Philip ignored Emily's chuckle and the system display and went ahead and entered the invisible gate, while unequipping the [Shades of Logicity] and making it disappear

He casually jumped into the air and passed through an invisible wall. The feeling was like diving into a surface of water amd creating a ripple

"Oop..."

The feeling was strange for Philip as first experience, so his balance tilted when he landed on his feet. He managed to regain his balance as he moved his feet and arms accordingly, but he was suddenly met with two spears pointing at his face

"Who are you?!!"

"How did you come here?!!"

Philip saw that the people in front of him were weredeers, as per their antlers. The weredeer spoke in a different language, but somehow he understood them completely. He raised his hands up to show the weredeers that he's harmless

'Does Earth Language Translator encompass all languages on Earth, even animals, creatures, spirits, and ghosts?'

「 It's a sub-skill of the Earth Language Translator 」

『 You have unlocked Spirit Language Translator! 』

'Ah! I see...'

Philip looked further from the weredeers and saw a deeper part of the forest that sunlight almost doesn't reach down, but everything's illuminated with blue, green, and white wisps, lanterns, and candles scattered across the ground

There is also wooden walls built from the distance with the large wooden gate blocking the way. A bright ambient light emanates from the inside

'That should be the kingdom of the weredeers... Or town? Tribe? We'll see in a moment...'

He also wasn't surprised that the weredeer guards are able to see him, even though he is in the past and he's normally cannot be seen by certain beings, specifically humans and other humanoid beings. Powerful beings and supernatural beings are able to see him, like gods and, for some reason, spirits

Witches and vampires were not able to see him, as per proof when he seek Camille's origin and seeing Braham, a vampire prince, and the witch that was helping him. Though, Braham almost sensed his presence, proof that he was getting stronger even though his life force was getting drained

Spirits from the Floral Empire were able to see him, as well as Ariii, Noctifer and his army, and Lucifer and her army during his trip to Mei'er's origin. It wouldn't be odd if the weredeer guards are able to see him

"Hey! Answer us!"

"Are you a human?!!"

The weredeers kept pointing the spears almost close to Philip's cheeks, but Philip was not concerned and didn't step back. Philip's [Regenerative Ivory] armor is not equipped after all, when he seek Rue's origin and went to the past, so the weredeer guards also doesn't seem to be overly aggressive and it's also the reason why they have identified Philip as human

It could also be his scent, but their noses were deceiving them and couldn't identify Philip. They then identified his ears and saw that he doesn't have any antlers or natural body parts of a spirit, so in conclusion, he's a human. Add his human made clothes to that equation that made the weredeer guards come to that conclusion

"I would like to meet the tribe elder..."

Philip spoke, but of course, he doesn't know weredear language and he could speak it

"...!"

The weredeer guards were surprised. They were right that Philip was human. They can understand human language for some reason and they started speaking it

"What is your business with the Weredeer Prime?"

Philip was surprised that the weredeer guards suddenly spoke in human language. Their pronunciation were a little sloppy and baroque, but Philip could still understand them

"Rue Safiotti"

"!!!"

The weredeers were visibly shocked and alerted, scared and fearful to be exact. Philip raised his left eyebrow in confusion and interest

'Why would they be afraid of her when that weredeer previously was overly friendly with her, like she was family? I guess we'll find it out in a minute here...'

Some of the tips of the weredeer guards' antlers started to glow. Just then, the giant wooden door from afar opened and several more weredeer spirit came out, including a weredeer that's emanating an aura of dignity

He has long white hair and beard. He wears a white dopo with green laces. His antlers are so intricate that it could be called as an art. Beautiful vines dangle on his antlers, including some shiny linked chains, gold beads, and flying white wisps. For some reason, there is also a bird's nest on his left antler that's adorned with leaves that glitter from the light

"F-follow us..."

The weredeer guards ordered Philip while shaking. They moved towards the gate without even guarding Philip

Of course, Philip followed since he doesn't have any plans of running away

After walking through the curving pathway, they arrived in front of the dignified weredeer

"Greetings, my name is Ruther. I am the second elder of the Weredeer Tribe. Follow me inside..."

Ruther turned around and entered deeper into the tribe and Philip followed

"Stay and be in guard!"

Ruther said with power and all the weredeer guards was startled. They immediately scattered around and increased their security

As Ruther and Philip walked through the pavement inside the tribe, the other weredeer residents began to hide inside their log cabins, camps, and other houses

Philip also admired the atmosphere of the tribe. There is a giant tree in the middle of the tribe, like it's almost a world tree. There are hundreds of wisps and orbs floating around the air that illuminates the area

There are more pretty decorations in the tribe, like lanterns, lamp posts, fences, and many more that suits the theme of the weredeers

After a few seconds, they arrived on an archway and Ruther entered past a curtain of beads and vines

"..."

Philip narrowed his eyes and he entered the archway that leads to the interior of the giant tree. He swiped his right hand in front of him to push the curtain and as soon as he stepped foot inside, his eyes widened and his eyes turned golden

There is like another council in front of him, similar to the Divine Council in the Divine Realm. There are a total of five weredeers that exude dignity. Ruther went ahead and and sat down to the right of the middle weredeer

He also saw the weredeer spirit that gave Rue the Magic Eye of Diagnosis to his far right, two seats left of the middle weredeer

The weredeer in the middle is slightly bigger and taller than the others. This weredeer should be the Weredeer Prime

The Weredeer Prime has giant antlers that has a color of green and brown intricate designs. There are many accessories also attached to his antlers, like items that exude powerful aura and energy. There was a sword, amulets, necklaces, rings, bands, and ethereal cloth

The Weredeer Prime looked ridiculous, but Philip couldn't help but respect his appearance because of his aura that's almost divine and legendary

His eyes are red in color and for some reason, his face is slightly bright red. Philip knew his identity just by looking at his face

"Welcome to the Sacred Weredeer Tribe... My name is Rudolph, the Weredeer Prime What is your business with me?"

"What is his name?"

Philip pointed to the weredeer elder to his far right, the one who gave Rue her magic eye

"His name is Rupert, the fourth elder that has the authority over the magic of the Weredeer Tribe"

"Interesting..."

"Why? Did he offend you in some way?"

"No, it's not that... I just saw that he gave a magic eye to someone"

"...!!!"

Rupert was surprised and he seemed to be panicking. Rudolph's eyes narrowed and looked down at Philip

"Is there some kind of problem?!"

"No... The reason that I came here is because of Rue, Rue Safiotti"

"!!!"

"!!!"

All the elders and Rudolph was surprised and they looked at Philip with animosity. Their eyebrows were furrowed, but their bodies seemed to be trembling from fear according to their body language, so Philip now has an idea of Rue's true identity

"Relax! I'm not here to bring bad omen or whatever... I apologize for my late introduction, I am Philip and I am the Fate Controller"

"What?"

"Fate Controller?!"

"The Fate Controller?!"

The elders went in an uproar, including some of the hidden weredeers behind the walls and up the giant tree in different floors

Rudolph stood up quickly and exuded a more powerful aura to silence everyone and declare his position in the tribe

His expression seemed to have mellowed out also and his face is full of calmness and understanding

"What is it that the Fate Controller need from the Sacred Weredeer Tribe? I will provide all the necessary information..."

"But prime Rudolph!"

One of the elder that Philip didn't got the name of tried to protest

"Silence, Rudy, this is my decision. You don't understand the severity of this situation and opportunity"

Rudolph turned his head towards Rudy, the elder next to Ruther on his right. He then turned his head back to Philip and looked at him solemnly

"What is Rue's true identity and her history?"

"!!!"

"!!!"

The elders twitched and they were alarmed. They were about to take down Philip because he asked about a very sensitive topic for the tribe, but Rudolph stopped them by raising his left hand and calmed them down

"Once upon a time, approximately 2050 years ago, a son bearing the the Holy Spirit, the messiah, was born under the Star of Bethlehem and this was when the First Christmas started..."
