1st December 2019
I have been running continuously for 3 hours now, I wanted to stop but couldn't because the weather was perfect for good roadwork but according to my schedule I have to be back at the gym now. After I arrived at the gym I put on my boxing gloves and started punching on the back for a whole hour."Hey Ali, there's a guy who wishes to spar with you" said Kelly White my trainer.
"Is he strong?" I asked.
"Yes very strong"
"Is he insane or cocky"
"Cocky"
"Okay let's do it"
I went inside the ring and asked for the challenger to come.
A big guy came inside a ring he was about 6'4 and weighed around 113 kg. Kelly came to me and said "That guy is Andrew Lawrence he is a kickboxer of a heavyweight division. He won 22 fights,1 draw, and lost 4 and he weighed 111 kg.
"Does he has a style?"
"No, he is just a kickboxer"
I walked to him to shake his hand "Hey, nice to meet you "
He slapped my hand away and said "Let's skip the introductions and get to the match"
"Okay," I said and moves to my corner "Hey go easy on him said, Kelly.
"Not in the mood today," I said.
Kelly brought leg guards and head gear for Andrew.
"Don't need em" he said. Kelly walked away and said "God help him,"
The bell rang and he came at me with a front flying kick I dodged by moving to the side. He started delivering some boxing punches jabs, crosses, uppercuts, and hooks I avoided them then he added some snap round kicks to my thighs I blocked them with my feet and also avoided them. As he was about to deliver a punch I quickly backed off and delivered a front kick on his right ribs. He felled down Andrew stood up and delivered roundhouse to my face. I avoided it and delivered a wheel kick to his face. He felled down again, he stood up and started attacking with various kicks and punches. I delivered cross-jab on his face alongside a hook which stunned him and then delivered a 540-degree taekwondo kick to his face finishing him with a knockout.
"Thanks for the match, "I said and walked away.
With that, I ended my fight with him. I continued to do my training and also helped train others.
Niam entered the gym"Niam hey man what's up?"
"Hey Ali nothing much"
"How come you're late?"
"I got work"
"Let me guess you stayed up all night playing games and watching movies and you woke up late"
"Yeah but I came to the gym didn't I"
"Warm-up then let's train okay". I am always impressed with Niam, the way he exercises is awesome calisthenics I love seeing him do those gymnastics tricks. After he was done with his exercises I asked him to spar with me in an MMA ring.
We fought each other as if we were in a street fight my fist hurts a lot when I am wearing MMA gloves but Niam is able to block them and avoid them. We once fought with bare fist but with the injuries we made onto each other my trainer made sure we fought each other while putting on gloves, we fought without referee or rounds we kept fighting each other till we dropped and after 2 hours of continuous sparing we were exhausted. This was the best training I had, sparing really fun especially with someone who can keep up with continuously without any breaks.
After we were done training. I went out and asked Niam
"Hey wanna get some grub from smokey's"
"Nah man I am good I gotta do something"
"Lets me guess you gotta finish your goddamn video game on your god damn video game"
"Yes and also finish this series I am watching so bye"
"Yeah bye"
I went down to my usual place for dinner at Smokey's grill. I went inside the restaurant and the owner greeted me.
"Hey Champ you want the usual," said Smokey Brown.
"One grilled cheeseburger with extra fries"
I sat down to eat and the waiter brought my dinner.
"I did not order the salad"
"It's on the house," said the waiter.
"Your mom called and said to make sure that fool eats his veges "said Mark.
I said grace and started to enjoy my meal. I always enjoy eating a cheat meal on a Sunday.
My name is Muhammad Ali Jabbar. I am 19 years and a professional athlete who is studying Sports Science. I am a professional Kickboxer with 12 fights won and 0 loss. I belong to "Metro city" and moved to "Silver city" to pursue my Kickboxing career. Even since I was a kid I used to get into fights a lot whenever someone pissed me off from then my father made me join Kickboxing so that I won't fight in the streets. Maybe it was cause of my father that had this urge to get into fights. From the age of 8, I trained in our neighbourhood's local gym which my father owned.
When I turned 13 I found out that my father Hassan Ali Jabbar was a professional Kickboxer who quit kickboxing cause of his injury and he was known as the silver city's champion "The Falcon" who won 29 fights and lost 3. The last match he fought and won led him to his downfall as his knee was injured and lots of people who supported him lost faith in him.
At first, he used to fight to pay his debts which my asshole grandparents put on him then later when he paid off his debts he started to reach new heights in his career but when he fought his last fight he got injured so badly that he didn't continue. He opened his own gym and started training athletes.
When I turned 13 I asked my dad to start training me. He then started teaching me martial arts techniques which he learned from all over the world. The techniques I could apply in Kickboxing he taught me Karate, Kung fu, Systema, Krav maga. Muay Thai Boran, Taekwondo, capoeira, and Silat punches, movements and kicks. It's not like I learned the whole martial art but only a few things that would be effective in fights and when I turned 18 I began fighting in the ring.
After I was done eating I drove back home in my car a 1994 ford mustang which I won from a bet. While I was driving I was stopped by a few cars.
"Looks like somebody is looking for trouble," I said.
