Qiu Si (22, female): Born into a scholarly family, Qiu Si aspired to live an adventurous life from an early age. She fulfilled her wish by learning martial arts. After years of roaming the world and helping others, she joined the Taiyi Sect as an outer disciple of the Sanyang School. Qiu Si is well-informed, skilled in the fine arts, sociable, and gifted at fighting. Yet she is burdened by a depressive personality and a tendency to become down hearted. She is ZhangsunShan's wife.
Zhangsun Shan (22, male): Adopted by a military officer, Zhangsun Shan has been receiving rigid training since childhood. As a result, he soon developed impressive physical and martial prowess. He later led a rebellion against the imperial court, yet ultimately failed, then coincidentally becoming a Taiyi disciple. Though a little socially awkward, Zhangsun Shan is quite the decisive and hardworking man. He is Qiu Si's husband.
Wenren Yu (17, male): Having grown up alongside a traveling doctor, Wenren Yu carried on his legacy by continuing to heal the sick across the Central Plains. He then went on to become a Taiyi disciple. WenrenYu is extremely skilled in the art of healing, quite meek, and lacking a certain sense of masculinity.
Sui Wenyan (19, female): Since childhood, Sui Wenyan has lead a vagrant life and suffered her fair share. She was eventually adopted by an acting troupe, and trained into an actress on account of her natural beauty, later becoming a Taiyi disciple. Sui Wenyan is outstandingly beautiful, artistically gifted, as well as intelligent; making her rather promising in terms of cultivation.
