"What do you mean?" Muttered Morpheous as he inched closer towards Nubeous and took his hand in his. And true to his word, the stone on the ring was illuminated, but as soon as Morpheous touched it, it stopped.
A puzzled Nubeous looked at Morpheous and asked, "What did you do? How did you make it stop?"
"I didn't do anything!" Morpheus replied and looked at Nubeous. "What is this portal?"
Nebulous looked at Morpheous for a second and then looked at the ring. It had been decades that he hadn't parted with that ring. But as of today that ring had lost all its value. Pulling out the ring from his finger, he placed it on the palm of Morpheous. "Destroy it!"
But he saw hesitation in the eyes of Morpheous.
