For a moment she felt as if she was kissing a stone, for his lips didn't respond.
But she was not someone to give up on him. Closing her eyes with all her might, she kissed him even harder in a hope to distract him from the pain. And all of a sudden she could feel the wetness of his lips on hers.
His tussle prolonged for a second more, but then he became calm. His hands, which were holding his head fell limp on his knees as he slowly started kissing her back.
Soft at first, but soon his kiss picked up momentum and turned into a fiery one. For a second in the heat of the moment, Caroline lost all touch with the world, with reality, with what had happened a second before.
Only when his lips moved down to kiss low on her neck, that she opened her eyes as she could feel the tingling in her back.
"Morpheous!" She mumbled and pushed him away.
"Caroline!" He whispered, as if he had run out of breath and looked at her in surprise.
