And no matter how hard Caroline tried to wriggle out of her grip, she just couldn't. Feeling defeated, Caroline shouted in anger, "Why are you after me now? Why do you hate me so much? Morpheous is gone now, and so should you."
She looked at the woman in front of her. Her shrewdness overflowed in the wretched smile borne by her face, and Caroline couldn't help but curse her fate for coming to the terrace with her. For trusting her.
Her silent prayers kept calling Morpheous for help. But she had no idea that the worse was yet to come. She watched the fierceness in her eyes grow as she cornered her, pushing her further towards the edge.
