He looked at her for a moment, his face looking utter serious, but slowly she could see a slither of a smile on his lips.
"Let me get my bag then."
"You don't need a bag to go with me." She replied, rolling her eyes.
"I do! Wait for me near the pickup point." He said and walked out of the room, and she went downstairs after informing Manila at the nursing station.
But when he arrived, he was holding an iPhone box in his hand instead of a bag.
"Is this what you needed?" She asked sarcastically.
"Not me. You. Your phone is broken, right. And I saw you using an old one. Better use this." He said and raised his hand to hail a cab.
"But it's registered with a different plan number." She said and looked at him walk towards the cab that had arrived. Holding the door open for her, he said, "Then get it changed at the store."
She nodded and got inside with him.
