Nothing was happening the way Nymphadora had planned, and probably the only one to blame for that was Morpheous.
The moment she saw Dr. Caroline alive, blood boiled inside her veins.
She stood there looking all perfect and chirpy next to Morpheous and that face of hers.
"That wrench!"
She muttered inside her head and walked towards them, plastering a fake smile on her face. Dr. Caroline wasn't wearing the watch she had given, and clearly, the Wolfsbane had no effect on her. Drinking up the pail of anger and resentment brewing inside her, Nymphadora kept herself composed.
And yet that wrench had the audacity to greet her with a beaming smile.
"Hello, Dr. Rosie…" But Nymphadora got straight to the point. "You didn't wear my watch, did you?"
But before Dr. Caroline could reply, Morpheus filled in for her. "She lost it near the lake!"
'She lost it! Now wasn't that a convenient excuse for escaping death?'
