Erica snapped her fingers in front of her, and that pulled Caroline out from the loop of thoughts streaming inside her head.
"Please excuse me!" Caroline said and instantly got up from her seat.
"Where are you going, Carol?"
"I… Uh… forgot something in the room." And saying that, she pushed the chair back in place and started walking.
"Don't you need the room keys for that?" Erica asked.
"Ah, yes!" Caroline turned. "My bad. Totally forgot! I will be back in a jiffy. Would you help me get a cup of boost, please?" And picking the keys from Erica's hands, Caroline started walking towards the reception, but on her way, she picked up a green apple from the breakfast buffet fruit counter.
"Erm… Can you give me my assistant Morpheous's room number? I am Dr. Caroline from Seattle High. We are here for…"
