"Are you going to join Kashyaps for real?" Vaani asked with a worried tone. Vaani knew this topic was very disturbing for Kiara which always forced her to get out of her trance, nobody else affected her as much as Aditya did.
"Why not? I trust them. they can help me with my career. And Rudra is also there for me. He is my friend for more than two years now, I am sure he will help me reach my goals" Kiara answered and tried to treat it like a professional deal. Vaani didn't push it further and they continued with their studies.
After some time the bell rang. Kiara and Vaani immediately headed to their scheduled class.
When finally all the lectures were over they decided to head home and parted their ways.
Kiara decided to take a cab at the main road which was 5 minutes walk from the backside of the University.
Very few people walked by the back street of the university due to which the street was very silent.
She usually asked her father to send her a drive at the back street, but she decided not to do so because of the rumors which were still fresh.
Kiara was used to this silent road and appreciated the peace during her walk towards the main road.
But today a certain someone was waiting for her in the street after hearing the nonsensical rumors.
She walked for a minute when an unfamiliar yet familiar voice called out her name.
"Kiara",
Kiara turned back and visibly frowned when she saw the person standing in front of her.
"Rihaan!!"
Kiara frowned at the sight of the guy standing in front of her. She was visibly extremely annoyed.
"So, you remember my name! Well, of course, you do! You always will. But you don't seem to be happy seeing me here. Come on won't you say hello to your dear friend?"
Rihaan snorted as he mocked her.
"What do you want?"
Kiara asked. Her voice was deep and annoyed.
"Well, I just wanna talk to you. Is it too much to ask for?"
Rihaan answered with a cocky grin.
"I don't have time."
Kiara deadpanned and turned to leave.
As soon as she took a step Rihaan held her wrist stopping her from moving ahead.
"Leave my hand" Kiara ordered with a haughty and dominant expression. She looked at Rihaan as if he is just a mere ant that she has nothing to do with.
Even though they separated their ways two years ago and had nothing to do with each other anymore. Kiara knew it very well that Rihaan was the one to make Aditya leave her side. Aditya didn't seem to be someone who could be brainwashed but still, he did what Rihaan wanted. She was sure, what Rihaan told Aditya must be a total lie which she has no idea about. What could be so intense that she couldn't even get any chance to clear whatever misunderstandings were there between them?
Back then, she thought she should give Aditya some space to clear his mind. They will eventually clear the misunderstanding between them. Days changed into weeks. She waited. Weeks changed into months. She waited. Months changed into the year. She missed him. and now two years were already over and she regretted it through her bones, that she didn't approach him by herself. In these two years, she developed a deep hatred for this guy standing in front of her gripping her hands.
Kiara yanked her hand out of Rihaan's grip when she saw he had no intentions to leave her hand.
As soon as she turned Rihaan grabbed Kiara's wrist again.
"let go of my hand!"
She tried to force her hands free but Rihaan gripped her even tighter. She struggled in his hold but she couldn't get herself free. She started her training just two days ago and was still as fragile as ever. Rihaan looked at Kiara's face that was flushed red due to her struggle. His gaze was perverted and as lustful as ever.
"Oh dear, don't pretend to be all pure and innocent. I know you are fucking around being a mistress! Or do you like it rough huh?" Rihaan accused her.
She was still struggling in Rihaan's grip when a black Maybach approached them and stopped in front of them. Not paying attention to the passerby Kiara was still trying to struggle. Rihaan was unbothered.
Soon a classy man in a black shirt and grey pant was revealed out of the car, he walked like an emperor and stood in front of them.
"Leave her hand."
A deep and intimidating voice rang in their ears bringing them out of their trance. They turned to look at the source of the voice in unison.
Kiara stood there dumbfounded looking at the mam standing in front of her. Her eyes brightened with astonishment. The second she heard the voice she knew it was him. She could recognize that voice even while sleeping. Even though it's been two years since she heard his voice this close. She was sure who it belonged to.
"Aditya!"
