Rui Fei understood what he meant but he couldn't accept it. He just nodded obediently not wanting to cause trouble for Ji Yao. A slight smile appeared on Ji Yao's face as he wiped Rui Fei's tears away with his thumb.
Without much thought, he drew the man closer and planted a heartfelt kiss on his lips in reassurance. As the warmth from Ji Yao's lips transferred to his body and seeped into his heart he felt a little sense of ease.
He was sure Ji Yao wouldn't push himself too far and risk his life to complete the task. Ji Yao was well aware of how special he was to him so he wouldn't do anything that would cost him his life.
