Rui Fei watched his father-in-law munch down the cakes he brought to bribe Rui Li one by one until the entire plate was empty. He wanted to stop him but seeing him stuff himself like a hamster he could only let it happen.
Rui Li who had only taken one bite of her sweet cake watched this greedy pirate king in awe. The man had managed to decimate six pieces in a matter of minutes and from the look on his face he might end up robbing her of her own cake.
When Ji Wen looked at her she hastily stuffed the sweet cake in her mouth making her cheeks puff out like a squirrel hiding nuts for the winter. She looked especially comical with crumbs all over her cheek.
Seeing this Ji Wen could tell what she was thinking but he wasn't going to rob her. It was already bitten into anyway. "I wasn't going to steal from you. Do I look like I am that type of person?" said Ji Wen while opening the teapot, "Anyone still wants this?"
