Ji Yao could hear the sounds of Rui Fei bustling about in the bath for a very long time. In this silence, his movements were especially amplified. Even the sound of water was like a gushing waterfall in Ji Yao's ears.
He impatiently waited for Rui Fei to get into bed but he also didn't want to urge him. Ji Yao waited till his side was beginning to grow numb as he hadn't changed position. While contemplating whether to move or not Rui Fei suddenly appeared and his body froze in place.
He continued to pretend like he was sleeping as he listened to Rui Fei's footsteps getting closer and closer. A tingling sensation spread on his sensitive back as Rui Fei stood in place watching him for a while.
