Rui Fei licked the corner of his lips that was stained with blood. His deadly gaze sent a chill down the creature's spine but it didn't back down. This was its main coarse meal for the day so how could it give in?
The metallic taste of blood lingered at the tip of his tongue as he replied, "Just because you can change shape and look like him it doesn't mean you can be him. You are just a cheap imitation."
The creature picked him up by his neck and threw him harshly to the ground. Rui Fei's spine hit the edge of the canopy bed breaking it into pieces.
At the wave of its hand, the creature made the room vanish and replaced the sheer clothes it was wearing with an exquisite turquoise robe embroidered with wave patterns. It flung its sleeve before grabbing Rui Fei by his hair raising his face up to look at it.
