I just stand in front of the door with my mouth open. I know that this is Luke's grandpa. He told us all about him when he came to our house that other morning. Why would he deny having a grandson?
All I wanted was a telephone number but it looks like this man is not going to give me what I want. How am I going to get hold of Luke to tell him that I am that I didn't miss our appointment on purpose? But I do not know if I can not tell him about the mugging yet, I will just have to make something up.
As a matter of fact, I do not know if I would be able to talk about it to anyone ever again. The fear of the mugging is still very much alive in my heart and I need to work things out for myself.
