I watch as Luke is being pushed around the corner and he disappears from my sight. I know that Dr. Richardson is second best as I am the best and I know that he will do a great job with him. I also made him swore that he calls me in if he struggles and after much convincing, he agreed.
Then I turn around and make my way back to his room. I will just wait for him here. I feel extremely exhausted as these couple of days really took it out of me. I guess there were a lot of ups and downs but luckily in this case more ups than downs.
I think to myself that they probably will not mind if I just take a quick nap on his bed. Even though the surgery is very easy it is a long procedure. As I make myself cozy and smell the scent that he left behind, I quickly fall into a deep sleep...
