Jessica stood in her closet while wearing her robe and thinking what to wear for dinner with Leandro. She could not believe that she had yes to go on a date with him. He was a young man and she felt that she was little old for him. Taking her to a party as a date is different from taking her out on a date. What would his parents think about it when they get to know about it?
She sighed and loudly and plopped down on her bed. She had no idea what to do with her life. Sure, she had her professional life going on but what about her personal life? She simply could not think anything about it.
She reached to her phone and scrolled through her phone. Her fingertips stopped at Charlotte's number. She immediately dialled her number and placed the phone to her ear.
"Hey, what up?" Charlotte said from the other side.
"Hey, Charlotte. What are you doing? Are you busy?" Jessica asked.
"Not really. Tell me what is it? Do you need anything?"
Jessica hesitantly asked, "Um.. Leandro asked me out for dinner."
"Omg…. As a date right… right?" Charlotte asked excitedly.
"Yes."
"Please tell me that you said yes. He is so handsome and he has broad shoulders and sexy bevels. I am sure he has six packs too. You should go out with him,"
Jessica laughed lightly at Charlotte's description of Leandro. "Yes. I said yes. But-"
Charlotte did not let Jessica to complete her sentence, "What? But what? Hat happened?"
"I am having trouble with getting dressed. I have not gone out on dates for a very long time and I am kinda nervous," Jessica said nibbling her lower lip.
Charlotte did not make any effort to control her laughter, "Don't worry. I will be at your place in 10 minutes."
Jessica decided to munch on some cookies until Charlotte arrived. Her doorbell rang after 15 minutes and Charlotte had arrived along with a trope of sexy outfits and accessories.
"What are all these?" Jessica asked looking at the huge bag in Charlotte's hand.
"These are for you. Now come on, we have to get you ready soon."
Charlotte made Jessica wear a minimum of 6 outfits before she concluded that a black colored backless dress suited Jessica and moved onto make a smoky eye make up and matched her outfit with nude stilettos.
"Oh, gosh. You are looking super sexy and I must admit Leandro is going to get lucky tonight," Charlotte said walking around Jessica.
Jessica blushed a little, "I am not sure about getting laid."
"And why is that?" Charlotte asked. Despite being boss and assistant, Charlotte and Jessica shared a very warm relationship. And despite being a decade younger than Jessica, Charlotte had a broad mind and got along well with most of the people she meet.
"I don't know. He is a lot younger than me and I don't think I even suit him,"
"It is normal to have insecurities but don't let it consume you entirely. Leandro is a nice guy and who knows he might the one for you. And you deserve all the happiness in the world." Charlotte tried to make Jessica see other side of her life. She had struggled for so long. It was really high time that she enjoys life and find true love, someone who genuinely cares about her.
"I will think about it," Jessica said.
Charlotte was fixing the accessories on Jessica when they heard the doorbell ring.
"That must be your prince charming," Charlotte teased Jessica before going to open the door.
Leandro stood on the other side of the door. He was wearing a black tux and styled hair perfectly. He looked dashing.
"Oh I did not know you were here," Leandro said when he saw Charlotte was the one to open the door.
She chuckled and replied, "I was helping Jessica to get ready. You know, it's her first date in !any years and needed some help,"
Leandro nodded in understanding and Jessica came out looking beautiful as she is naturally. Leandro felt like his heart skipped a beat. Jessica looked mesmerizing. He simply stood there staring at Jessica.
"See, I said to you that you are looking sexy," Charlotte whispered to Jessica.
Leandro heard that and chuckled, "Let's go."
Jessica took his hand and walked out signalling Charlotte to lock the door when she leaves to which Charlotte nodded her head.
Leandro took Jessica to his car and helped her buckle up the seatbelt and drove away. Neither of them spoke anything throughout the drive. Leandro was trying think straight but his eyes kept glancing at Jessica from corner. She looked super sexy as Charlotte said.
He stopped the car at a lavish restaurant and helped her put of the car. They walked inside side by side.
"No one's around," Jessica said noticing that the restaurant was pretty much empty.
"I have booked the entire restaurant," he replied placing his hand on her waist. Since the dress was backless, his hands made direct contact with her skin. Chill ran through her veins when she his hand on her body. And her skin was so soft that Leandro felt like touching it more and wanted to squeeze it hard. He tried his best to control himself.
Jessica looked up at him with wide eyes. After all, he was rich and was capable of doing anything he wanted and wished to.
They both were ushered to the table that was special decorated for their dinner. The menu was already set and the waiters brought them to the table when Leandro signalled them to.
A few musicians played light music while they had dinner. Jessica constantly took Leandro's glances. He was being a gentleman throughout the time.
"What happened? Did you not like anything? Do you want me to order something else?" he asked her.
Jessica shook her head, "No no. It's perfect. It's just that I haven't been on a date like this inyears."
He gave her a smile and said, "Don't worry. We will be having loads of dates like this from now on."
Jessica nibbled on her lips wondering what he meant by it. Looking at her eyes, "I like you Jessica. Actually, I love you. I feel like you are my one and only. Sure, we only got to know in detail from last week. But, I have been having secret crush on you since my teens. You don't have to answer me yet. Take your time."
Leandro's confession got her off guard. She was definitely not expecting him to have crush on her, especially since his teens.
She simply nodded her head and the dinner continued peacefully. They spoke about general things.
After the dinner, they had moved back to his car. Before starting the engine, Leandro turned to her and asked, "Do you want to come to my place?"
Jessica thought for a few seconds. She was very well aware that what was going to happen if she says yes. Was she ready to have sex with a younger man? She thought. But a part of her wanted to try it. She softly replied, "Yes."
