A bright glow suddenly projected the mark at the back of Luis's hand.
"Look! It's the Elite Mark of the Dean!" A mentor exclaimed.
"What's an Elite Mark of the Dean?" A student from behind the mentor suddenly asked.
"It is a mark that can only be given by the Dean and the Vice Deans once. No other student can have the mark other than the most favored student of them. It's such a sight that we witnessed what Vice Dean Mufar's mark looked like and it's an Elite one at that!" The mentor answered.
"I can't believe that Vice Dean Mufar gave that student such a privilege. Even though we all know that Luis doesn't have a chance to improve." Another mentor sighed.
"But remember the time that Kiefer Erdrich became known to everyone?" The mentor pondered.
"And we also know that Kairos only protected him because he doesn't want people to know that Kiefer is his Legacy Holder. His element is actually the element of Time."
"You mean that he was blessed by one of the Twin Godly Brothers of Time?"
"Yeah, but we don't know if that Luis is also the same case."
"But we can't deny that the young man is intelligent! Can't even believe that he comprehended a pedestaled book with more than a 100% result." Whispers can be heard among the mentors and students.
After the mark fade, another extraordinary thing happened. Both Luis and Mufar glowed brightly.
"Oh no! I know this phenomenon! It's the Light of the Bond of Fate!" Fulgur exclaimed!
The Bond of Fate is a phenomenon where two people decided to form a bond of trust and they had compatibility against each other, this phenomenon will develop a new Element or Attribute towards one of the two people.
"Who do you think achieved a mutation among them?"
"Probably the kid since he only had a Neutral Element so he might get a Light Element from Vice Dean Mufar." A mentor answered.
The light from the two people suddenly dimmed and Fulgur approached the two.
"Who among you two achieved a mutation?" Fulgur asked as he intently looked at Luis.
Luis only looked at Fulgur and shook his head.
"You mean?" Fulgur exclaimed as he looked at Mufar with wide eyes.
"I think, I'm the one who achieved a mutation!" Mufar exclaimed.
"Continue the ceremony, Cris! You two, come with me!" Fulgur ordered as he immediately rushed towards his office dragging the two.
"What's with the rush dean?" Mufar asked when they reached the office.
"Tell me, why didn't this kid achieved a mutation but you did?" Fulgur curiously asked.
"Remember that I have Light Element with Air attribute? I have Celestial Light with Astral attribute now." Mufar answered as he used his energy to emit light.
"This is the Sunlight!" Mufar said as the light he emitted became very hot.
"This is the Moonlight!" And his aura quickly changed from hot into a cold one.
"This is Starlight!" And his aura dispersed and scattered around the room and made it looked like the galaxy was projected in the whole room.
"You mean, you acquired double mutation?" Fulgur asked.
"Yes, Dean!" Mufar answered.
"Would you like to take another Identification Exam? But this time, you will be taking it inside the Elite Hall." Fulgur asked Luis.
"Okay, I guess?" Luis shrugged and followed Mufar and Fulgur towards a certain building.
They entered the building and inside they saw a very wide space with a lot of doors.
"This is the Elite Hall! This is the place that only the students with a mark of the Deans can access. Let's go to that door and find out what you really have." Fulgur introduced.
They entered a glossy red door and inside the door, Luis saw the almost same Identification Array where the first examination took place, but the difference was that the runes of this array are dancing and hovering up in the air.
"This Identification Array is a hundred times more powerful and accurate than the one on the first examination," Mufar explained to Luis.
"Step in Luis, enter the array, and do just what you did back then." Fulgur urged the young man.
Luis stepped in and the array lit up. The runes floating suddenly circled Luis as it built up a series of information in front of the two people who came with him.
"Neutral Element, Earth Attribute Peak Level, Light Attribute Peak Level, Astral Attribute Peak Level." Both of them read as the runes slowly stopped spinning and Luis stepped out of the array and head towards the two deans.
"I can understand the Earth and Light Attribute you have but, how come you have the Astral Attribute? Where did you get that attribute?" Fulgur asked.
"I also don't know Dean Fulgur!" Luis shook his head and his face described that he doesn't know anything.
The two deans stopped questioning Luis and brought him back to Academy Square.
"Luis, I think that you know that I manage the School of Medicine right? I'll show you the real view inside the School of Medicine but first, you need to register as a Mage at the School of Combat." Mufar instructed as he brought Luis towards the entrance building of the School of Combat.
"Welcome to the School of Combat! I am Melissa, what can I do to you young man?" Melissa who was sitting behind the booth welcomed.
"Hi, please guide this young man on how could he get the Mage Class here." Mufar politely asked the lady.
"Certainly Vice Dean Mufar!" Melissa agreed.
Melissa brought Luis inside the hall. They entered a room and from inside there was a human-like dummy in the middle of the room.
"To get the Mage Class mark, you need to hit that dummy with three different spells. The array inside the room will detect and give you the Mage Class rank that you should have based on your performance." Melissa instructed.
"Kid, use your Earth skills only, don't use what I thought you unless it's needed," Skyrion warned from inside of his consciousness.
Luis stepped in and took a deep breath.
"Earth Manipulation: Earth Spikes!" Luis chanted as series of spikes hit the dummy but the tip of the spikes failed to penetrate the dummy.
"Earth Thread: Vine Whips!" Vines shot up from the ground as it continuously hit the dummy. The dummy got visible cuts but it suddenly disappeared.
"Terran Weaponry: Hundred Spires!" A hundred pointed spires suddenly emerged as it pierced through the Dummy.
"Please retract the spells and come here," Melissa asked.
Luis walked towards the lady and the lady gestured him to put his hands on a crystal-like ball fixed on an array. He placed his hand as a mark of a Yellow wand appeared above his mark at the back of his hand.
"Wow! You're already a Level 3 Mage!" Melissa exclaimed.
"What does that mean?" Luis asked.
Melissa explained everything that she knows about classes.
There are 10 colors that classify the Level of a Warrior and Mage. Red, orange, yellow, lime, green, cyan, blue, purple, gold, and black. Each color depicts the Level of the person. Red for Level 1, Orange for Level 2, so on and so forth.
The same classification also applies to the Alchemist Rank and other subclass ranks.
Luis stepped out of the hall and from the outside, he saw Mufar standing there talking to someone. The man has a frown on his face as if he doesn't want what he was hearing from the other man.
Mufar looked in Luis's direction and his frown suddenly changed into a bright smile and approached the young man.
"Are you already done with your examination?" Mufar asked.
Luis showed his white glowing mark with a yellow wand at the top.
"You got Level 3 Mage already? That's what I should expect from you, come here li'l bro. This is Marquis Anthony, he is a part of the royal family of the Spring Kingdom. Marquis Anthony, this is my Apprentice and my brother in name, Luis." Mufar introduced.
The man with an angular jaw and blonde long hair smiled at Luis as it looked back to Mufar.
"Can we go back to our discussion? This thing is very important. I'm sorry young lad if I interrupted something but your Master brother needs to hear this first." The marquis asked Mufar and apologized to Luis.
"It's okay, I will just roam around here," Luis answered.
"Thank you, Luis, I will inform you through the mark if we are already done," Mufar informed as he brought marquis towards a certain shop.
Luis roamed around the School of Combat and then he heard loud cheers and screams. He followed the source of the noise and there he saw an open arena where two students are fighting against each other.
"What's going on here?" Luis asked.
"This is the Sparring Arena, this is where students do a friendly fight just for fun! Anyway, are you new here? I think I don't see you around here?" The young man whom Luis asked answered.
"Yeah, I just got curious when I heard loud cheering and screams so I came here," Luis answered.
"Okay! Enjoy the fight, I guess?" The man responded.
Luis continued to watch the fight until night time came.
-----------
A group of people wearing black robes suddenly emerged from the Willowing Woods towards the Gorge of Discord.
It was the shadow man and his group.
They slew every single beast that they saw, even the beast below the Gorge didn't escape this fate.
"I think this is the place." The shadow man affirmed.
They passed through the wall and into a new realm, they saw nothing inside other than an endless meadow. No signs of the forest or the three gigantic trees.
"Set up the Array Detection formations." The shadow man ordered.
Three days passed and they still don't have a sign of the shrine inside the hidden realm they entered.
"Damn! I think they already knew that we're coming!" The shadow man cursed.
"There was no signs of the shrine here young master."
"Return at the castle immediately." The voice at the other side of the talisman ordered.
