The next morning, after Luis finished concocting the last batch he needed for the contract, he called the guy who delivers the herbs and the pills he concocted to the Medicine Plaza.
The young man was named Cyrius, he has one of the Divine Energy, the Space element but he can't enter the School of Production because the attribute of his Space element is short distance teleportation and this can't be used to make teleportation arrays or storage rings so he is one of the students who was admitted in General Studies.
He worked part-time at the Feather Express to receive and deliver parcels to different places around the academy.
When he arrived in front of Luis's house, the usual thing happened.
Luis will hand over the cases with the pills inside and the delivery charge but Luis will add additional for Cyrius's tip and the young man will gladly accept it.
Cyrius will then rush towards the Medicine Pavilion and deliver the pills completely.
An unexpected event happened.
While Cyrius was rushing towards the Medicine Pavilion at the center of the city, a bulky young man stepped on his way and suddenly cast a spell that petrified Cyrius's feet on the ground.
Four more men appeared and walked beside the man who first appeared.
"So this is the man who always delivers the medicine that the wimpy apprentice of the Vice Dean made." The man spoke.
If Luis was here, he will recognize this guy, he was Francis, the one who bullied Luis when he was finding the way towards the School of Medicine.
They surrounded Cyrius and prepared to beat the poor man up.
While Luis was preparing himself to go to Mufar's office.
His communication talisman shone and vibrated signifying that there's an incoming call.
The talisman was made out of stone with magical carvings on it, it was a circle in shape and its size was as large as a palm. When Luis held the talisman, a symbol appeared on the surface and it looks like a symbol of a feather with sharp edges.
"I guess they just want to inform me that my parcel has arrived." Luis thought as he used his energy to answer the call.
"Thank you for delivering my parcel safel-" Before he finished saying what he wanted to say he was interrupted on the other line.
"Hello sir Luis, I'm sorry but your parcel can't be delivered on time because of an unexpected circumst-" Cyrius spoke on the other line but he was interrupted by a loud explosion and the line was cut off.
Luis suddenly felt an ominous presence right after he heard the call and the first thing that came into his mind is the delivery man and the pills that he made.
He immediately used the transmission and looked for the sign of a magic circle where Serion's name was imprinted.
"Why did you call best? Do you need anything?" Serion playfully answered the call and few noises can be heard from the background as if he was in a noisy factory.
"Are you in the city outside the Academy?" Luis asked anxiously.
When Serion heard this, the playful smile on his face suddenly turned into a frown.
"Yes, I'm actually at the local blacksmith buying materials for the Illusion Array that I'm making," Serion responded seriously.
"Please, can you take a look and see if you can find a place where commotion happens and inform me where it is?" Luis asked anxiously.
He immediately ran outside his house going to the portal towards the academy proper.
When he reached the exit of the academy towards the city, his talisman vibrated and Serion's symbol appeared.
"It's happening at the alley past the shops, five people are ganging up against the man with Space energy. He kept on teleporting to evade the attacks but I think he's on his verge." Serion reported the happening at the alleys where the explosions are taking place.
"Can I ask you a favor, Serion? Just this once! Can you help to defend that guy? He's my courier of the pills I made for the Medicine Plaza!" Luis asked pleading for Serion to help him.
He immediately ran towards the alley while Serion stepped out and helped the young man.
"Air Manipulation: Gale Barrier!" Serion cast from one of the roofs along the alleyway.
He jumped down and helped the exhausted young man up.
"Thank you!" Cyrius spoke while catching his breath.
After a few minutes, Luis came.
"Would you look at that, the wimpy apprentice of the Vice Dean came!" Francis taunted as he made an annoying snort.
"I'll beat the hell out of you for insulting my friend!" Serion burst as intense winds gathered at the alley.
He was about to attack Francis when a hand appeared in front of him signifying him to stop what he was about to do.
"Let me handle this Serion, I need to collect the debt they have from me way back when they beat me up behind the Divine Medicine Pavilion." Luis calmly spoke but his seething anger can't hide based on his expression.
The enemy group mocked as they crunched their knuckles and one of the enemies chanted the same spell he used to buff the fists of the group with ice.
If they used this spell way back before the incident inside the Black Smog Forest, it may still take effect but now that Luis overcomes his trauma, no matter how many enemies are there he will make sure that they will receive the proper punishment they should have.
"Oh! I'm scared! Huhuhu, I'm so frightened!" Francis mocked as he made an annoying expression.
Luis was angry but that didn't make his reasoning falter.
"You should be, because I'll make sure that you will experience everything that I experienced from you! Earth Movement: Ground Shift!" The ground suddenly moved as it made Luis move freely.
"I think this is the right moment to use the skills I learned. Light Skill: Blinding Light!" From Luis's hand, a bright light flashed and it blinded the enemies.
The group was blinded by the light and all that they can see is white and nothing else.
They can hear the ground shifted in different directions as Luis circled them.
"Earth Manipulation: Rock Knuckle!" Luis chanted and a knuckle suddenly emerged from the ground as it hit one of the members in the face.
That person tumbled and hit the wall on their right side.
"What's that? What happened?" One member asked when he heard the loud thud the member who tumbled made.
"That's the sound that you will make next!" Luis smirked as he hovered at the right of the man and whispered the words.
"Light Skill: Light Rod!" A bright white rod emerged at Luis's hand and he smashed it towards the face of the man, he flew and hit the wall next to the unconscious man who was still fixed at the wall.
He did the same thing to the other two and they were fixed at the same wall in a straight line. The only one left was Francis who was sweating hard.
Another moment passed and his vision slowly returned and he saw Luis standing in front of him smirking weirdly, he looked back and saw that the other four was unconscious on his right side.
"I won't let you do your way! Earth Skill: Petrify!" Francis screamed as Luis's ankles were fixed on the ground. He smirked and looked directly into Luis's eyes.
"What will you do now?" Francis mocked but strangely, Luis still has that smirk on his face.
"Is that all? Light Debuff: Neutralize!" Luis chanted calmly as a warm light shone on his ankle and the petrification was lifted.
"Now it's my turn again! Earth Thread: Vine Whip! Earth Domain: Briar Field!" Luis dual cast as a field of vine appeared below Francis and tied him down.
Vines rose from the field and whipped Francis repeatedly until he was beaten black and blue.
"Does it taste sweet? It's so good isn't it?" Luis remarked sarcastically, he let go of Francis from the vines' grip as he flopped on the ground.
"I'll tell this to my dad! He is the mayor of this city! I'll make sure you'll pay for this!" Francis threatened but Luis only looked at him smirking.
"Then tell him! I'll be waiting!" Luis grinned.
"Earth Manipulation: Pillar Shot!" Pillars quickly emerged behind the four unconscious men who were stuck on the wall.
"Light Skill: Light Rod!" He chanted again and hit the five people simultaneously until all five of them flew out of the alley.
The people who were walking on the street were surprised when five bodies suddenly flew out of the alley.
They set up an Isolation Formation so that people will not be alarmed by what they are doing but the same formation kept them from asking for help.
Some people recognized Francis and immediately called the mayor's office.
Luis went to Serion who was tending Cyrius's light injuries.
"I'll personally deliver these pills to the Medicine Pavilion. Serion can I ask one last favor? Can you bring him to my house? I'll concoct some medicine for his injury and over drained energy." Luis asked.
"Of course! Anything for you, best friend!" Serion smiled as he summoned a flat disc item as he guided Cyrius on it and they flew towards the School of Medicine.
Luis personally brought the pills to Ingrid that made the woman smile widely because the pills that were made by Luis gave them a fortune and helped their business to be known around the city.
After delivering the pills, he directly went back to the Divine Prophecy Academy.
He went to Mufar's office to ask for his assistance for their training.
"Lil bro, I can't help you with your sparring, but I'll ring Chisa if she is available, you have one of her apprentice on your group right? I think she'll be glad to help you with your training!" Mufar smiled.
"I hope that she shows you mercy when the time comes." He muttered but that didn't escape Luis's hearing.
The young man was sweating from what he heard.
He listened intently to the conversation of his master big bro and the person on the other side of the line.
