"A Grade 5 Adept Alchemist!" Linda exclaimed when she saw the mark on Luis.
"What's wrong with having a Grade 5 mark?" Luis confusingly asked.
"You didn't know? Most of Grade 5 Adept Alchemist around are in their 40s or 50s already! This is the second time that someone became an Adept Alchemist at a young age!" Linda exclaimed excitingly as if she just witnessed a miracle.
"Who was the first?" Luis asked.
"Chad Gouweizer! The God of Alchemy!" Linda exclaimed!
"God of Alchemy? I thought Gods were born from the primal origin? How come he became a God?" Luis confusingly asked.
"I'm not the right person to whom you should ask that, try to ask your master about that! Now go! I had enough excitement and shock for today!" Linda exclaimed.
Luis walked out of the room and looked for Mufar but he didn't saw his master bro anywhere.
"Wait!" Linda shouted from behind.
"What is it, Ms. Linda?" Luis turned around.
"I just want to ask if you're going to sell those pills?" Linda asked.
"Probably? Why do you ask? Are you interested to buy them?" Luis asked back.
"It's not me who is interested in your pills but the head of the Medicine Plaza." She informed.
"How much are they offering?" Luis curiously asked.
"Excluding the cost of the herbs you used, you can earn 1000 Energy Crystals per pill!" She exclaimed.
"1000 Energy Crystals? Isn't this too good to be true?" He doubted.
"No, no! Your pills are too good to be true! Pills are very rare around this place because only Adept Alchemist and above can make them. The most common medicines around here are potions and serums." Linda exclaimed.
"What's happening here? Why are you bothering my apprentice?" Mufar suddenly came.
"No, Vice Dean Mufar! I'm just informing Luis that the head of Medicine Plaza has an interest in his medicines." Linda explained.
"Why would Ingrid will have an interest in this kid's medicine?" Mufar asked.
"Why don't you ask your apprentice then Vice Dean?" Linda refuted.
"What happened inside Luis?" Mufar looked intently at Luis but the young man only showed his mark towards Mufar to answer the question of the latter.
"You mean... You get a Grade 5 Adept Alchemist subclass!" Mufar exclaimed as he looked closer at the mark of the vial.
"Tell Ingrid to prepare a reasonable contract and tell her that I won't allow her to swindle my apprentice's medicine!" Mufar exclaimed.
"What do you think I am? A hoodlum! Long time no see Mufar but this is how you greet a senior?" A woman suddenly appeared inside the room.
"Ingrid! I will agree on behalf of my apprentice as long as I see the contract you prepared." Mufar snorted as he faced Luis. "Let me handle this."
"I already prepared a reasonable contract before going here. Go on and read it!" Ingrid passed a scroll towards Mufar.
Mufar read the contract and his eyes widened when he saw the contents of the contract.
"Isn't this too generous? 70-30, and he will get the bigger piece of pie?" Mufar exclaimed.
"First you complain because you think that I will trick your apprentice, now that I gave a generous over you still complain! Where should I place myself?" Ingrid retorted.
"Okay, as long as you provide the herbs that he will use in concocting, we agree." Mufar strongly stated.
"Did you read the whole contract Mufar? It is already stated that we will prepare every ingredient that the Spirit Herb Fields can't provide like Beast materials." Ingrid annoyingly replied.
"Okay young man, the decision is on you. Do you agree to work for them?" Mufar looked at Luis and asked him.
"Is the contract good now? I have a concern though, can I leave after a certain period?" Luis asked.
"Yes, young man. You can after completing our needed medicines you can either apply for another contract or let it be." Ingrid smiled as she confirmed.
"Should I sign it?" Luis looked at Mufar.
"I have one sentence for you, 'You Will Be Filthy Rich!'" Mufar said as he whispered it syllable by syllable.
"I'm going to be rich? Hell yeah! Give me that contract!" Luis excitedly snatched the scroll and immediately tried to sign the paper.
"No! You don't need to sign with pens young man! Just face your mark on the paper and draw your energy towards it." Ingrid instructed with a smile.
Luis followed the instruction and draw his energy towards his right hand, specifically towards the mark.
The mark glowed as the smell of burnt paper wafted around the hall.
A burnt mark that looks as same as Luis's mark appeared at the bottom right part of the paper.
"I will take these and here's the payment! That's 100% of the price, a welcoming gift from me!" Ingrid blew a kiss towards Mufar and left the room.
When they left the room, Luis noticed that there's a floating scroll image on the mark of his hand.
"What is this? Why do I have this image bro?" Luis asked.
"That's your copy of the contract. You have the freedom to open it whenever you want, after your contract was done, it will automatically disappear." Mufar explained.
Luis opened it and the details about the contract appeared in front of him.
"Can you see this bro?" Luis pointed towards the image floating on his mark but Mufar just shrugged for an answer.
"That's a contract lil bro, it's confidential to you and the contractor, of course, I can't see it," Mufar explained.
Luis pondered and realized how stupid of him to ask the obvious thing. They immediately returned to his house in the residential area of the School of Medicine.
The moment that they entered Luis's house, he opened the pouch that Ingrid gave him in exchange for the potions and saw a lot of shimmering crystals. He counted them using his energy and confirmed that he has 12,000 Energy Crystals on the bag.
"That's a lot to spend lil bro! Be wise and don't spend them recklessly." Mufar reminded him.
"Bro! Can I upgrade my house? How much is to add a room for a library?" Luis asked intently.
"Library? Why library? A lot of students ask to add a pool, a jacuzzi, a bigger forgery or alchemy room, or a training room? Why do you want to add a library?" Mufar curiously asked.
"I have everything that I need big bro! I just need a library to study. I'm not the type of person who will spend recklessly on leisure or comfortable life!" Luis explained.
"Okay, okay... I get it now!"
"So, how much did that cost?"
"It's 2000 energy crystals for the renovation but you will going to add another 1000 for the kinds of stuff and furniture you might need inside."
"Will the books be included in the additional 1000?"
"Not yet, the books will depend on what you want to add to your library."
"How much is it if I want to add books about, herbs, beasts, techniques, alchemy, medicine, and illnesses?"
"You are one of the hardcore learners of this school! Each variant of books will be 200 crystals so, the total costs of the books will be 1200 crystals plus the total of the renovation and furniture which costs 3000 crystals. You need to pay a total of 4200 crystals for the overall cost." Mufar informed.
Luis handed out a total of 4200 crystals for the total cost.
"On which part of the house do you want to add the library?" Mufar asked as he spread a map on which he got from nowhere.
"Where did you get those stuff you're carrying bro? It just appears out of nowhere!" Luis wanted to ask this too badly but he didn't have the chance to do so.
"This was stored on this spacial bracelet that I'm wearing," Mufar explained as he showed his bracelet towards the young man.
"You mean I can store items using that thing?" Luis asked.
"Yes! Anything non-living so when you got one, don't try to put Luna inside the ring or she will be torn into pieces." Mufar reminded.
Luna heard this and started to whimper.
"No need to be afraid lil bud! I won't ever do that to you okay?" Luis comforted Luna as the pup slowly became relieved.
"So what are you going to do now?" Mufar asked.
Before Luis answered the question, a loud knock can be heard coming from the door.
"Hello! Are you Ignacius Luis Delmont? This is the ingredients and recipe that the Medicine Plaza asked me to deliver to you." A young man wearing a white robe and full of smiles appeared before the door.
"Thank you! You want to come in for a snack?" Luis offered.
"No need sir! I need to go back to delivering goods!" The man smiled.
"Wait! Take this, thanks for the trouble of bringing this here." Luis handed a small pouch towards the young man.
"There's no really need sir!" The man refused.
"I insist! Accept it!" Luis insisted as he put the pouch at the young man's hand.
"Thank you, sir! I'll be glad to be at your service again!" The man smiled and immediately left.
"You're too generous Luis!" Mufar smiled as they watched the young slowly disappeared towards the horizon.
"Grandpa Francis taught me that I should be generous and kind for kindness will be paid back with kindness too." Luis simply responded as the memories of his grandpa Francis suddenly emerged in his memories.
"Okay! I get it! Now, what are you planning to do now?" Mufar asked again.
"I think I should start with this!" Luis smiled towards Mufar as he showed the bag of ingredients he received from the young man.
