Each time you fail, start all over again and you will grow until you have accomplished a purpose.
This line is really full of positivity.
However, in reality, do you really think it's that easy?
Blessed are those who have the luxury to start over every time whenever something went wrong in their life.
Thirty-three years in life, yes, there are happy moments. I'm thankful to the friends that I've shared bonds with as life goes on. But, despite being grateful, I'm still not satisfied with the life that I have.
This may be why I like reading novels were the main characters gets to be reincarnated because they can undo the paths that they took in life. How I wish I could do that as well. But then again, life will not stop and rewind just for your sake -- you better stand back up after tripping and continue to run and catch up or else it will leave you behind.
Yes, it is harsh for those who can't keep up, and I'm one of those who keeps catching up.
Hence, Life, I will stop from here.
I will not follow the path that you are showing to me.
I will start over.
Hopefully, I will be able to catch up and walk with you side by side.
So that, I will be the one in control of you.
These were Di Lan's thoughts while waiting in a queue for a customer representative to pick up his call.
After an hour of talking to the representative, Di Lan was able to sell all of his asset for $120,000. The representative and the bank was kind enough to let him stay for a month in the house which he now formerly owned.
As the money went to his account balance, he right away purchased the Game Console Pro Max which will be delivered five days from now.
The differences between the three Game Consoles is that the plain Game Console can only be used Earth's New Era game while Game Console Pro can only be used for this game as well, this console provides a VIP starter package which provides advantage at the starting point of the game. The Game Console Pro Max on the other hand, it just not provide a VIP starter package, it also has a function of autopilot where you will be controlled by the system up to level nine. This function is very useful because it helps ingrained the game play movements and actions to your muscle memory.
With the game console being taken care of already, Di Lan was now able to rest at ease. This was the very first time that he was happy and contented with his own decision about selling all his assets. He checked the balance left on his bank account, and it was now around $32,323.69.
Di Lan planned to convert $30,000 into a game currency since he will be getting his cut off two days after the release of Earth's New Era.
You may think that $30,000 is too much however the game currency is that one VitCoin is equals to $50. Which means that the conversion will only be 600 VitCoin, and this may not be enough for him to get by.
Days passed by and it is now a minute away from launching the first ever full dive virtual reality game: Earth's New Era.
As Di Lan sold his assets, without letting anyone know about his whereabouts, he moved back to his childhood province. It was in a small island that can be explored for three to five hours. Though it's very far away from the city that it's under, it has a 24/7 electricity and has a very good network reception. This is enough for Di Lan despite how backwater the place is.
In this place, he asked for his uncle to let him have the hut that was in the middle of a hill forest which he paid for $5,000 which is a big money already for the people who lives in this island.
Di Lan was able to get a net total of $45,000 from the back pay plus the last incentives from the sales that he contributed to the company's account. The air plane travel costed him $3,000 then another $500 for the ocean travel going to the island that he's staying now.
A total of $37,500 left on his balance. Providing his uncle $500 for his monthly necessities plus $250 for the monthly electricity, Di Lan's money should last him for 50 months.
Everything was now setup. Di Lan resolved himself with starting over as he laid down on the Game Console's chair.
For the mean time, good bye, friends. Good bye, family. Good bye, everyone.
The two orbits that surrounds the Game Console slowly revolves clockwise and counter clockwise.

A flash of light took over Di Lan's vision blinding him for a second.
A melodious feminine and a monotonous masculine voice greeted as their voices overlapped and blended in harmony.
After being blinded for a second, Di Lan's vision adjusted and what he saw made him feel awe and at the same time nervous. He was in a cubic space sitting as a projector was being played in front of him.
A black and white film started to play. The film was about the background history of the game. It was a trilogy which lasted for twelve hours. Each film highlighted each classes that the game provides which are Fighter, Mage and Mage Warrior. The game would automatically play the recommended class which came from the result of scanning the player.
According to the game, Di Lan was suited to be a Fighter as this was the first film that was played in front of him. It was the story of the first man called Adan. Through this, Di Lan learned that each class have a starting point of a total 10 Stats which will be distributed appropriately according to class, and the Fighter's starting stats distribution is:
Strength: 4
Intelligence: 1
Dexterity: 3
Vitality: 2
Each level up would automatically allot 2 points for the Strength attribute and 1 point for the Dexterity attribute.
Each level up as well will provide free stat points according to what level the player is. For example, if the player level up to 1 then the player will get 1 free stats point, if level up to 2 then the player will get 2 free stats points, so on and so forth.
Aside from that, Di Lan also learned the pros and cons of the fighter class.
Engrossed from the things that he learned from the film, Di Lan watched the other two films despite having a Skip option being provided already. If Di Lan knew, he would be thankful that he watched all the three films as this will be eventually known in the gaming community where in order to unlock the option to choose a between the three classes, the player will have to finish watching the film for that class.
The second film that the game played in the projector was for Nomad class. It was a story of a half human half elf named Jack. This class is a mid-ranged type where they can use both magical and physical skills at certain restrictions. This makes its Stats as:
Strength: 3
Intelligence: 3
Dexterity: 2
Vitality: 2
Each level up, 2 points will alternately allotted to Strength and Intelligence while the 1 point will be alternately allotted to Dexterity and Vitality.
Despite its flexibility, Nomad class has lots of cons such as slightly vulnerable to physical and magical attack. On player versus player, Fighter class can easily shorten the range gap between the two and lock it in a brawl fight while Mage class can easily widen the range gap and bombard it with magic.
The third and last film was about the story of an elf called Circe, the mother of Magic. This class is a long range while the Fighter Class is vulnerable to magic, the Mage Class on the other hand is vulnerable to physical attack.
Strength: 1
Intelligence: 4
Dexterity: 2
Vitality: 3
For this class, each level up would automatically allot 2 points for the Intelligence attribute and 1 point for the Vitality attribute.
After watching the trilogy, Di Lan can relate to the characteristics of the Fighter Class which made him feel repelled from choosing it because if he chose this class, it was just like continuing being what he was before hence it made him more inclined to choosing the Mage Class because its characteristics is totally different from what he is now, and from choosing this class, it would really make him feel that he has started over.
The similarity of the class for Di Lan though is they have a stable path of growth. Its roads were already set in stones where it would be just a matter of having the capability of stepping the next stone.
For the Nomad Class on the other hand, it has two paths that intertwined into something different or unknown.
The melodious and monotonous voice sounded once more.
For a silent moment, Di Lan finalized his decision between Nomad and Mage. Five minutes passed by, the voice asked once more.
Di Lan was almost having mental breakdown just by choosing from the two classes. Another five minutes passed by...
"Damn it!" Di Lan exclaimed from the incessant question of the voice. "Except for the Fighter Class, you decide for me. You can as well decide for my player name."
With the instructions provided, the game followed and naturally, it chose the Nomad Class as this was the second option that suited for Di Lan and as for his player name..
After the game chose for Di Lan, the cubic space slowly disintegrated into pixels as the scenery slowly changed into a cliff where you can see a kingdom at the distance.
