Beren wanted a quiet awakening in the sunlight, just like characters in TV shows, movies or books. But as always it was in the middle of the night, and the reason for waking up was, of course, that her bladder was full...
She sat up on the bed and shook her feet in space for a while. She was trying to feel a bit sober. Her skin, which was cold since she was sleeping without covering herself with any blanket, was reluctantly shivered when she met the cooler parquet floor. With nothing can be heard but bare footsteps in the empty room, she turned toward to the bathroom.
And a while later what she thought about this silence was changed as it's opposite. She started to being suspicious that she heard a breath coming behind her, unable to perceive it exactly, she rubbed her eyes, after looking around for a second she entered the bathroom.
She had decided to wash her face first. There was a strange feeling in her, as if someone was watching her. Since she had just woken up and not very-sober yet, she couldn't think very well, she wanted to relate this feeling to a nightmare she had. Later, as if to claim the opposite of what she thought again, the rattling voices rose from the inside. It was as if someone had left her room. She turned her face to the closed door of the bathroom in fear, and she dried up the water flowing from her face with the back of her arm and began to watch the door with widening eyes. If there was someone and was dangerous -probably dangerous if sneaked into her room- she didn't have the courage to face with that person. But don't know how many starred hotel could this be so unsafe? Wasn't the cameras watching around? Was there no security?
With all these questions spinning in her mind, she locked the bathroom door and decided to wait there for a while. Her phone was on her bed and she could not reach Naz in any case, and she probably wouldn't call her, as she didn't want to scare or endanger her either. But at least if something happens and if she has to call the police... Anyway, she didn't even want to think about it. She could stay there until she felt safe. Since she was sleeping in her underwear, although it was a pervert who entered her room, she took one of the hotel robes and put it on her. Tied the rope around her waist and fasten up the towel on her body.
It had been 10 or 15 minutes already, how long could she have waited here? No other voices were heard during this process, and whoever was there -maybe not- must have gone by now. She stood up and took the dry toilet brush in her hand. If she had to defend herself, at least she would use this brush.
She silently turned the locked door of the bathroom and immediately turned on the lights as she entered the room. There was nobody in sight. After checking each corner could useful for to hide one by one, she threw the brush in her hand into the bathroom and sat down on the bed. When she checked the time on her phone, she saw that it was 04.17 in the morning. She could not just sit in her room anymore, and she had lost the calm mindset that could fall asleep already.
Looking around thinking what to do, she saw the beige envelope that had fallen to the floor. Did she leave it there? She was sure about she didn't but for her own sake, she wanted to think contrary of this thought. She quickly went there, bent over and picked up the envelope.
She was nervous as she checked inside.
Her hands started to tremble after what she saw. There were only 3-4 photos of about 20 photos.
For seriously, someone had entered her room!
With fear, she left the envelope on her bedside table, took off the bathrobe she was wearing, and after taking her black tights from her suitcase, she started to get ready. Since the weather was cold, she wore her hoodie. She put her room card and phone in the pocket of her black stamp and left the room.
Her first goal was to control Naz whom in the side room. Had the same person entered her room either? They also kept reserve of the room cards with each other, so instead of knocking on her door, she had the card scanned. She did not open the door completely, she was grasping the phone flash from the doorway, looking inside. Naz was sleeping soundly, and if the person entering didn't hurt her, there was no problem. If there was anything gotten from this room, they could check it together in the morning.
'What's gone is gone...' She thought.
After closing Naz's door silently, she got on the elevator and went down to the entrance floor. Where she came is was the reception. She was able to say, "A stalker entered." As soon as she saw the employee at the reception.
