"Uhhh....umm….hi, Mr. and Mrs. Ghost."
"Hi, Mr. and Mrs. Heartchild."
"Wait, you know who we are?"
"Our daughter hasn't stopped talking of you guys and Darius. I never heard her scream. That's new."
"It's my dad and his wife. They are adventure-seekers. Would believe anything you told them, and be prepared for it too."
"You're not scared of us?"
"If your daughter really does bring a smile to our boys face, then why should you bring a frown to ours?"
"We're ghosts. We're supposed to haunt your dreams and ruin your day; or, I thought all ghosts were. I don't get this whole 'friend' ordeal that Ruby's trying to pull. She's making us ghosts look bad. I mean, who needs a friend anyways? I was born alone, lived alone, and died alone."
"But weren't you alone?"
"Nope. With no strings attached, I was free as a bird. As happy as an elf. Oh...those were the good days. I'd give anything to have them back."
"I too was alone, but never wanted to be alone. Wasn't until people started hopping in that I learned the truth."
"That is?"
"Not everyone fit my description on how to act, but that didn't matter. A friend stays with you till the end, so let em in and make amends."
"You're telling me you let everyone fit in? What about the trail seekers, or...…your parents?"
"It took a bit, but eventually I got there. What say you we give this whole fair fit in thing a try?"
"I...we could...….but if your parents try anything again, or you for that matter, then mark my words. Next time we meet, I'll make sure you do more then just frown."
