Little author's note here: This is my first fan fic that I have written. So yea-
I look down at my legs, covered with small scratches. I sigh knowing that I will always be on the run. I'm Eddie kaspbrak and for most of my life I've been running. When I was around 7 or 8 my dad died, so my mom got way too protective. One day it was too much, so I ran. I ran until my heart was ready to burst out of my chest. I remember where I went a little to well, I remember running to Bill's house. See Bill has been my best friend for so many years. I've known him since I was like 3. I ran up the steps, my lungs burning from how long I was running. I didn't know what time it was but I knew his family would still be awake. I gently knocked on the door, not wanting to seem as if I was in a rush.
"E-Eddie w-w-what are you d-d-doing at m-my ho-house?" Bill was tired I could tell he recently got over his stutter and would only stutter if he was tired.
"May I come in?" I guess he could hear sadness in my voice because he let me in immediately.
"W-What d-did s-s-she d-do t-this t-time" Bill said while bringing me up to his room. Bill pointed at his bed and told me to take a seat.
"She locked me in my room because I tried to explain that I don't find girls attractive. She Told me she didn't 'Need a fag of a son'" I explained while I could feel tears rolling down my checks.
I knew I could trust Bill. He had came out to me a couple of years ago.
Bill went quiet and then got up.
"Come on E-Eddie"
"Where are we going?"
I was confused but not worried I knew I could trust Bill.
"W-we're g-going s-see i-if you can s-stay with me." He said grabbing my wrist and practically dragging me out of his room.
