Raiene blinked in confusion, before letting out a soft chuckle afterwards, "Busy."
"Doing what exactly?"
Raiene crossed both her arms, retreating back a step away, while scanning his appearance from head to toe, "Avoiding you."
Kervan guffawed at her words, "Failing miserably aren't we?" When suddenly his eyes widened upon another glance at her, "Wait… Raiene?"
"On duty, Kervan?"
"Well yes, a minute ago. I'm looking for Prince Alron. Haven't seen him since about an hour ago. Did you see the fireworks just now? Some blockhead set it off early. I'm sure they will get fired for that."
Kervan glanced around their surroundings, the empty rose garden and hallway, his eyes landed on her once again, "I didn't realise you could dress up for this event. What a peculiar colour of choice but it suits you well. Though I didn't think you could end up coming."
Raiene punched his chest hard, enough for him to wince in pain.
