"What's up doc?"
Bang sat up straight and asked the doctor in front of him. Her visit was not of sentiment, but of obligation. Seeing that he had experienced the effects of solitary confinement, Bang guessed that it was about that.
"I am just going to have to do a preliminary check-up."
The doctor moved closer to Bang's face and raised her hand. She seemed to want to inspect Bang's face in close proximity.
Bang did not flinch. He welcomed her hands as if they were a warm touch. It seemed that his mind still confused the doctor for the woman in his dreams. He had to consciously stop himself from actively putting his head on her hands.
"How have you been these past few days?"
Eve asked Bang with a straight face. She continued to inspect Bang's face, his eyes specifically. Bang did not know what it was good for, but he was not a specialist in this accord.
